I am posting more mirror videos today! I think the mirrors are up on the site. We are going to make more camera mounts as the first 12 sold in a day without even a photo!
Been using the Innov cameras for years on my bikes. The interactions have improved over time. The one on my wing has been going strong for 4 yrs. Will say, don’t mount the DVR in the left saddle bag. The GPS antenna is in there I guess. When I put it in that saddle bag, my GPS couldn’t find me lol. Moved it to the trunk and bam, everything works as it should again. Works better there too. The camera mount sounds interesting, can’t wait to see it!
Anxious to see that camera mount. Mirrors sound cool. Robert White installed the Third Eye on his 2023 and I hope to get one soon. It will be interesting to compare all of our impressions.
I just got an email from my friend at ATL BIK... he also has a BSD system... except he has integral mirror lenses with a red "WING" light in the upper inner corner of each side.... super sweet!
@@cruisemansgarage Innovv wants to work with me to develop a mounting "shelf" on the rear fender for cameras and radar. I don't think I would put it inside of the fender area just for the terrible working conditions it would exist in... rain, spray, dirt, dust, etc.
I have the Innovv K3 camera System Which is great works well. I also installed the 3rd eye however as I wanted to fit the warning lights to the mirrors I introduced an electrical Connection in the same location as the mirror oem plug so the mirrors can be removed for servicing. Really great bit of kit.
That's a good idea. I believe they have plans to develop a Goldwing specific mirror lens with the light built into it. That could take a while though... so what you did sounds pretty cool!
Yeah, you gotta helmet with no wire and voice activation too, don't cha? hahahaha! Cruise control? hahaha! You gotta laugh... I'm going to order up some of these systems, give me a week to get one on the bike and I'll order up a batch. I'll put your name on a list. Please shoot me an email max@traxxion.com
thank god. i cant tell you how many times i have went to adjust my mirror and they pop off in my hand. ridiculous. I don't even touch them while riding anymore.
@Traxxion you have me confused with someone else's conversation as.it would never work upsude down as it would hit the bikes body work, I have one i made that gives a front view ,im just tweeking the mount a bit.
Hello Max, I could be interested in the camera mount(s), but really need to see how it looks. The mirrors are interesting, but not a priority for me. The Blind Sport/Rear Collision Warning is very interesting. I’m not sure, but Cruiseman’s buddy Robert recently installed a system and did a video on it. My concern it looked a little aftermarket and I prefer options to have that factory look. My feedback to Robert was for this company to get with Muth mirrors and get the indication lights embedded into the mirrors. I installed the Muth mirrors with the sequential indicator lights and really like the quality and fit. I look forward to seeing the Goldstrike mirrors you mentioned. Thanks for the video. All the Best.
The one Robert reviewed is the ThirdEYE from Innovv, the exact same one. They are planning to make Goldwing mirrors in the future for their system. The camera mount will be almost invisible... it will be very sexy.
@@jameshales6958 I haven't thought about that. But if there's enough interest, I think we could reverse up the bracket we're making. I am going to be working with Innovv to create some sort of bracket plate for the rear fender to put cameras and radar on. But that could take a while.
@@TraxxionMax, again, I really want to see the finished product, but my interest would be both sides. A rear fender bracket for a camera or collision warning sensor sounds like an excellent idea. Anything to help make this system look more factory will be a good thing. Cheers.
@@Traxxion ya, I'm hoping to move the Zumo above the instrument cluster for easier viewing but unfortunately the Zumo would be blocking that incredibly engineered windscreen ventilation louver. Though I am cautious of the weight of the Zumo and the force/leverage being applied to the extension arm thereby allowing bounce/vibration. But i figure i'll deal with this concern when/if it happens with your bracket and extension arm i don't think i'll be out more than $50
I have a 6 speed, simply because it was cheaper, and our bike is used for R&D, not for actual riding... it has 1600 miles on it and it's a 2018! The DCTs sell like 25 to 1, so people must like them, that's all I can say. I like a 6 speed and a clutch... but people seem to have learned how to overcome the peculiarities of driving the DCT... mainly at low speed.
I refuse to buy something that Honda should've put on the Gold Wing years ago. Blindspot monitoring and active cruise control should've already been on that bike. I will not buy another one until they get with the times
@@Traxxion Thank you I'm quite happy with my other option. I just purchased a 24 BMW R 1300 GS. that has all of the options and more over the "new" Honda gold wing. Maybe the 7th generation will have all of these standard amenities most other bikes have? tall then hard pass...
@@Magicinstalls Most other bikes have folding mirrors, blind spot detection, lane change assistance, and convex mirrors with turn signals in the glass? Name 5. Since "most" motorcycles have all of these amenities.
@@Traxxion first of all your automatic folding mirrors are useless. I used to fold my mirrors in all the time on my Gold Wing when filtering in tight spots . But since you wanna go here here we go. All of these motorcycles have Blindspot detection and radar cruise control. R1300gs, r1250rt, r1300rt, DUCATI V4 pikes peak, ducati V4S, oh crap that's six. I could stop now, or would you like me to go on?
