That sounds awesome! I have debated on a cd009 conversion or going the r154 route. What made you go with the cd009 instead?

@@DustinRoonz i just wanted a 6spd. they seem to hold a bit more abuse than the r154 as well, especially considering the weight of the GS, lol. i have the full Collins swap kit for our chassis (master, slave, clutch line, driveshaft, tranny crossmember, clutch & flywheel, adaptor plate). i already have the nissan bellhousing cut off and the adaptor and toyota bellhousing mounted up. I just gotta change some gaskets on the engine, bolt everything together and drop it back in the car.

hahaha I had to! I loved my old GS300 too much to not get one again. I even found the same HKS exhaust I had on my old one to install on this one in the near future. :D

I wish I could go back tomorrow but with everything going on and the new baby, we felt it was better to be closer to family for now. Hopefully the borders open up in the near future so we can go back to visit.

Luckily, the previous owner in Japan really took care of it. I have a couple videos in store cleaning it up even more coming soon. :)

haha it definitely freaks people out when they see it. It's hilarious but honestly, you get used to it.

Hahaha yeah I get a lot of strange looks. Funny enough, more older men in the 60s and 70s are giving the thumbs up and asking about it.

Sadly, I had to sell it. The brake master cylinder was leaking into the cabin (apparently a common issue) and you can't buy new ones anymore since they use a specific nitrogen canister to pressurize them. Finding someone to rebuild it too is near impossible. Since this was my only car at the time and I needed something more reliable and safer to carry the family around, I sold it to buy the Mrs. a daily family car and I ended up getting the Silvia instead. Not a bad compromise haha.
