Sharing my Roxy’s Journal of Stitchery Slow stitch project idea for May with the prompt of a box. #Roxysjournalofstitchery
In this video I share the design I’m going to use to make a house shaped slow stitching box with foldable roof using wonderful vintage French inspired fabrics fromFrench General and Moda.
I hope you enjoy following along with this easy beginner project where I will show you step by step what to do.

this is such a genius idea Christine, love it! Thank you so much for showing how to create the pattern from scratch too. I'm only half way through the video and my mind's in overdrive already with little extra ideas to try out with this project. I can so relate to that experience where your mind is so taken with a creative idea that it keeps working overnight and on your journey to and from work and when you get in you can't wait to get started, it was lovely to hear the excitement in your voice and I'm so looking forward to seeing how this comes out :)

Great idea! Lots of ready made boxes (even tissue boxes) that could probably be adapted for the same purpose are around. Some of us are challenged trying to construct one. 😊Long before Christmas, sturdy house shape boxes of various sizes are available at $Tree in the U.S. They're intended for cookies, small gifts or just holiday decor.

Love your little house idea. Aww think I would like a square house maybe three story’s tall this would come in handy to store things in. Himm if I made a little box that slots in a bit I could store templates then underneath completed projects, yep I’m thinking a suffix puff little house holder. Gosh this could be so cute. Think I will try and follow along slightly different house but I don’t think this will matter at all.
