Out for a test and bash with the Arrma Kraton 8s EXB. Running the New Proline Masher X HP Belted tires, I was VERY impressed! They handle great in the street, truck fly's balanced and they perform killer in the dirt! Finally an option that works for the 1/5 scale line! I tested the tires on several bash spots in different terrains, They did great as expected! Also testing some Definitive Solutions ABEC-5 rubber sealed chromed bearings in the hubs! Butter smooth and very durable! HUGE thanks to Proline, Horizon Hobby, M2C Racing and Arrma!

I've seen many Kraton 8S movies, but in handling and grip, this is by far the most impressive video I have ever seen. It shows and proves how impressive these Masher XP tires are. It is level in control and being planted on the ground which no other 1/5 scale 4W RC can match. Your videos are F. awesome and the same I can say about your driving skills. Keep up the great work.

Just rewatched this..... your right, seems to be best handling for street, ramp, and construction rough sites, the signature RCDUDE81 power slides were in full effect. Great airs and control as always.... Love the "Lets just Send it🚀🚀😎👍" Slight loss of rotation and correction ability because of the belted but it's a trade off for performance and durability. There just does not seem to be a middle ground durable with some ballooning and not crazy weight/price .... These seem a great balance of all that's need for big power. Great vid brother.... Rock on!

Thanks bro! Yeah they are a sweet spot for sure! Truck feels so much more light on her feet and agile than any other tire ove tried! Probably not the best in bumpy terrain but definitely a winner on street and low pile dirt! Almost like a 1/5 Katar!😁I could probably gear up a tooth or two. I did feel like I lost a few mph from no ballooning but we'll see. Thanks for your comment bro!😎🤘🤘👊👊

Tried several other tires and the stock tires simply don't last 2 runs!😆So nice to have a Katar like wheel that really showcases the performance of the truck!😍We'll see how they hold up long term but so far so good! Yeah the last construction site was actually the old mega mound spot. They are all graded down now.😝 at least there were some nice flats to drift and haul butt.😁 Sometimes we gotta get creative with these ever changing bash spots. Sick session with K8exb Eric. Those mashers does kinda resemble the katars. They hook up killer on pavement which is awesome for some high speed ramp hits! Not whole lot rotation in the air for flips but balance air control. Wicked huge launches as always and awesome rips and power slides. Another amazing upload Ramp Blast Bro!

I don't know why but my kraton 8s exb constantly breaks even during light bashing: i jumped it about 5-6 feet high and my cvd outdrive broke(the silver part at the end of the outdrive). I have a lot of hope in the car because it is one of my only stunt cars and it looks so damn cool. But i just don't know why it keeps breaking... my first run i was driving it on a flat field in a straight line and randomly the arm broke. Some other time later my rear diff completely exploded!!!! How do i fix this????

You need to change your motor bullets to match the ESC. I believe they are 5.5 bullets but I'd double check!

I had these on my DBXLE 2.0 and they didn’t last. They came unglued and the foams destroyed in less than 2 months. I have the mad max’s on mine now (only used in dirt) and on my K12 I have the MX43’s.

Sup bud? Awesome bash as usual 👍. I really like my Duratrax lockup x 24mm belted tires. I might be try these. Thanks for for all the testing. My friend built a huge ramp, so now I can get double backflips easily with my 8s Arrmas and triple backflips with my X-Maxx with 1/5 electronics 🤣👍. Honestly for $80 for two of these tires, you can almost buy 4 of the Duratrax lockups or six packs. Meh, I wouldn't do it.

Glad to see you have the same issues..hatchett xs from duratrax are same weight same pattern ( and half price;-)) and have awesome grip, however the air control becomes tricky. Stock tires give you awesome air control but balloon and explode. Interestingly, if you stick these on the oc8s you've got both awesome grip AND air control. I guess best tires for kraton 8s exb would need to be tiny bit larger.. Awesome video again as always master...Can I ask does your double plastic ramp take the heavy 8s rigs? Thanks

About 715 grams as a stock tire is 740 grams.

I'm running the 980 KV motor it's a what Rich duper dash same setup as his I think it's I know my spool is a 39 let me look and see what size is first I think it's 32 or 34 with a 39 spool

Man you do send your rigs 💪🏻 I’m always a bit worried I’m getting my motor a bit hot. But you run yours without a fan. I guess my question is what max temperature are you happy to run at? I don’t run massive gears and the esc isn’t to hot.

I try to keep my motor under 180 degrees and ESC around 120. I've definitely got both warmer but just need to allow for cool downs between packs!

They are very close in diameter but belted so they don't balloon. They are a tad lighter than stock EXB Copperheads too.

It's a good combo! Especially with the 840kv. With a 980kv it will run a tad faster and possibly warmer but you'll just have to test it!

@@joshherrman3201 I have the same set up also k8 exb running 30 /39s and it's a beast. Do you still run 39/39 these days? Running 30/39 and I run balls out these Mashers and It still get toasty after 15 20 mins, even quicker in the summer. Chews up diff cups, snaps shafts and eats diffs every so often. Temps gets toasty here in VA in the summer. Any other good gearing to recommend. Had mine about a year havnt swapped pinions or spurs yet.

My all time favorite is the Talion simply bc of its agility and speed! The Kraton 6s is my favorite all around basher! Better for rougher terrain too.😎👊👊
