What's up Randy. Got mine on Monday and let me tell you my experience as someone who never smelled original Hawas. I was pleasantly surprised with this fragrance. It's a beast of a fragrance for me lasted well until the next day 10+ hours. The scent reminded me of YSL Y Live similar scent profile and vibe I got, except that one only lasted like 3 hours on me and i got rid of it. I do not own any other fragrances with this scent profile so no redundancy for me. Your reviews are pretty much always on point, thanks Doud!!!
I got it in after ur first impression and ur exactly right I was hoping for mint but after about 25 minutes it’s just a slight twist on Hawas. While it’s good it’s redundant for me but interesting jeff said in the heat it’s different I’ll have to try tomorrow when it heats up
I feel like I might like this more since it’s more fresh and not as sweet but I don’t know. I don’t want to take the chance. I probably won’t buy it. I know the OG is sweeter than ice but I like that because you can wear it in the fall and winter.
The hot day out it was mint and tonka. Like allure Homme sport eau extreme in how it uses those two notes and the Hawas dna with a warmer plum. On a cooler day when wearing it it was the sweet tart from first instinct together mixed with Hawas. Couldn’t get the mint on the cooler day much. Wild how different it was. I did find it warmer on me than the original Hawas.
When I first purchased this the notes that you read off were the notes on fragbar but I noticed they revised the notes .. recently and it now says official notes from rasasi.
Believe it or not, I've never tried the OG Hawas. So judging this on it's own I quite like this. I was worried that this might be too youthful / juvenile, but I feel like anyone can pull this off. I like this better than Invictus Aqua 2018.
Well ya I get a lot of citrus just only for the first 30-45 minutes as with most citrus notes in fragrances they are the first to dissipate so he was prob talking about the opening and mid . He also lives in the southern states where it’s hot so maybe the mint pops a bit more like it did for Jeff but Jeff even said in the cold it changed and the mint didn’t shine.
Hawas is a strange fragrance for me in that I bought into the hype a few years ago and picked up a bottle only to have it sit collecting dust on my shelf. Thats not to say its a bad fragrance, it just one that I sprayed once or twice after purchasing before being overlooked in favour of subsequent purchases. On that basis, I probably won't be rushing out to buy the Ice flanker.
Yes this is the next great thing that will make you smell unique and make those women who won't date you change their mind. More likely it's a copy of a copy, and the girl you're dating says she likes you but wishes you would stop wearing that cologne, reminds her of everyone including her ex. Satire.
