Redcat already changed the game back then brother when they released my beloved Gen 8 Axe which was already upgraded with great electronics, motor esc and beefed up parts. No other brand has done that. Now they are just following up on that same changing tactic with this Ascent Fusion.

I agree, we got the Scout, two Gen 8s, the Axe Edition, two Gen 9s, the Marksman, two Ascents, two RidgeRunners, two Ascent 18s and now two Ascent Fusions. I still use the GT5 that came with the Axe for almost every rig not matter who it's from, that was an amazing build. The Axe Edition is more for trails, the Ascent Fusion is a rock crawler/belly dragger. This Ascent Fusion needs nothing, another great rig from RedCat. I don't say that lightly!

@@RickysGarageVibesIndeed...Redcat is great I'm proud of what they're doing and keep improving not listening to bashers and put downs by snobs. I started my RC crawling journey with the Gen 7 Pro almost 10 years ago I think. Then I got the TRX-4 Defender which I was so ecstatic about because it used the technology that my Traxxas Summit has with locking diffs and 2 speed tranny. I had the Element Enduro Sendero for a little bit I sold it and regret selling it because I bought the Axial Bomber 2.0 which I regret buying. After that I saw the Gen 8 Axe and yeah I love that and got it and the Axial Bomber was gone. Now I want to get a more performance crawler rig that can out do my TRX-4 and Gen 8 Axe, like what you said they are both great Trail rigs that can crawl too.

We haven't been in RC nearly as long 🤝 you have some fine rigs! You won't be disappointed with the Fusion compared to the TRX4 Defender or Sport or the Gen 8 Axe. I'll see about doing a comparison of the three for you

Rock crawler vehicles are loud in rl. I’m going to add engine sounds RS when i get mine soon. Nice crawling video.

I did look at it after you suggested it and it seemed expensive for what it is and it still needs upgrades ... but it's on our list of rigs to try!

@@RickysGarageVibesExcellent...thanks man for listening to my suggestion. I know eh the Vanquish is more expensive plus still have to upgrade motor esc, servo, wheels. For me it'll cost over $900CAD and I almost pulled the trigger...but wait whoa the Ascent 18 came out and then Boom! Ascent Fusion is out now 🤯. But still intrigued to see how this Ascent Fusion can take on the Vanquish VRD Stance crawl battle, because there are so many RC snobs out there bashing on Redcat.

@@RickysGarageVibes i run the vrd! the only thing i have done to it to make it extremely capable is change the tires! an added some brass to the front wheels the vrd is an amazing rig worth every penny!

it would be best for us if they joined in ... paying $500 for a rig you have to replace all the parts on is getting ridiculous and should stop

@@RickysGarageVibes absolutely. then again, mfs are in the business of making money. My other rant is that since the price was set years ago and hobbiest have agreed the pay it, most are blinded and are lemmings saying the fusion is a bargin. rtrs should not be this expensive as the price is not entry level.
