Great review brother. I’m wearing LTOW as my SOTD and you accurately describe the opulent and “old world” vibe it evokes. LTOW demonstrates Christian’s evolution as a perfumer. Please do the fall of phateon because these other reviewers out there are giving a false narrative to it in my opinion and not really giving credit to how well they constructed the scent to match the story. This scent is a bright, opulent woody leather That has sweet touches. There’s a heat to it pays homage to the fire and a bright opulence that pays homage to the lightning in the story. It’s brilliant really. A lot of people are calling this smoky, incense, type of scent and it’s really not not even close. You always do an amazing job at breaking these things down
This is the most appealing fragrance by Argos at face value and based on the scent profile described. However my biggest issue is that i've heard people say that this is a more "dressed up" kind of fragrance that you'd be best wearing a suit alongside; however that isn't my style at all and is quite off putting. Would you agree this isn't something i'd be able to wear as a more casually dressed person?
