There have been references here that Triumph of Bacchus and Carlisle are very similar. I respectfully must disagree as Carlisle only has a cigar note while Bacchus has both a cigar AND a boozy rum note. There are other differences and each fragrance is decidedly unique. Owning both would not be redundant.
They definitely are different enough but they are also share many similarities in the drydown. I would say that to me they share enough similarities that at the price point of these fragrances I wouldn’t buy both.
At 8:25 you said that parfum the marly has a fragrance that smells the same. Is it Carlisle you are talking about? Because I did not fully understand it.
Just picked up a 30ml and love it, very sexy scent and the presentation is the best I have ever seen. No experience with red tobacco or others so can’t speak but this will definitely be in the rotation. What is the song you use for the ending of the video?
I enjoy the channel. But NOT this scent. I had horrible performance. Really wanted to like it. But FAIL. Buy the stunning Carlisle by Parfums de Marly or it rougher brother Mancera Red Tobacco. So wanted to like this but not. Smells grear but poor performance. Thanks for the content. Be safe.
Poor performance from ToB? That's a first. I get comments about it up to 8 hours after applying a conservative 3 sprays, and can still smell it on my skin then.
@@Teeb2023 Bullshit , the fragrance is very weak , very, very weak , i own Argos TOB, Herod and Naxos , from all this 3 Tabaco fragrances , Argos TOB this is the weakest one by far , followed by Herod and Naxos is the longest lasting one .
