yup i just recently started playing valorant and i get frusterated every time there is a yoru in enemy team. my teammates cannot just resist shooting anything even if move ever so slightly and they can damage it

I have a yoru play. You throw a gate crash and follow it using your ult. when it stops, you fake activate it and place a decoy on it. The enemies will assume you just got out of a gatecrash tp, and shoot the decoy, but you actually just got out of ult and shot them when they were blind.(They will shoot the decoy because decoys can't tp so they'll know it's you. What do you guys think?

for the fakeout, you can make it look a bit more real by walking it into a wall at an angle so it moves towards the peek and is looking at the enemy

There's one defect in the yoru clone though. If you have a skin, and you don't use the skin for the specific gun, your clone will have the skin which you have selected for that gun, doesn't really matter though

one of my favorite things to do is ult and stationary clone and gatecrash at the same place, in a pretty visible place, then, activate both to make it look like u teleported

I tried the fake clone trick but heres a tip: U must use it repeatedly in rounds so that when your enemies gets used to it they have a chance to ignore it. 2 person ignored it but when I turned around there was an enemy in the back and killed me. Edit: You can also use the blindside and then use a clone when the enemies know youre there but quickly teleport to their backs.

Actually I think enemies get notified when you are in their LoS regardless how far or how close you are (basically as long as they are looking in your direction they will get notified on their hud, I think this also applies when yoru looks at the enmy as well but I havent tested that yet)

The gate crash tp should be shorter duration in my opinion because lets say youu are in a 2v1, people are shooting at you and you dont have your main weapon equipped then you remember your gatecrash, you try to tp there but in the middle of teleporting you die.

I've been playing Valorant for a while now, I noticed a way to know if it's a yoru clone or not. When I listen to the footsteps, the clone has louder footsteps. At least from my games

You say being consistent is a negative but that's almost always how I play Yoru, throw a clone in the same place two rounds in a row and then be the clone yourself on the third round, its important to build trust with the enemy team before you break it ;)

I would've loved it if he could turn fake Yoru left and right at least 2 times or 1 time within the first 2 to 4 seconds of it's 10 second duration. Kinda like Skye's bird just. His fake Yoru ability is good but sometimes you can tell if it's fake or not and when the enemy team knows it's fake it can stop whatever planned tactics you have discouraging you from engaging. Like sometimes it works but sometimes if the enemy knows it's a clone their awareness can make your engagement feel a bit restrictive or one-dimensional.

I probably couldve used the Fake Footsteps by Going to A, faking footsteps once i see an enemy then go to B. They probably would stay A cause they hear footsteps. Or maybe be smart and rotate.

the fake clone works 100 % i have a trick i made, if you are having duels, and if they are reloading, pretend to be a clone, as they are reloading, they cant shoot you, and after 1 second, they will think its real clone

Price is fine because total kit cost. Maybe split some cost with gate crash. The blind duration is ridiculous. I wasn't aware flashes had different durations until the clone had double the duration of any sensible flash.

Yes I feel the windup before going invincible is a bit to long they should lower it a little and maybe even the exit time from his ult so it’s a little easier to follow up on your flashes as rn they won’t be blind anymore after you exit the ult and his ult is a little to team oriented for a “self sufficient fragger” aka a duelist. Nothing like how it use to be with the shorty but just a small touch like maybe 0.9 or 1s instead of 1.2 (his flash lasts 1.5s)

the fact that yoru's tp didnt get a delay change and his ult pull out time after exit is doubled, i think it ruined his ult still cuz i cant take aggresive peaks with the ult and i have to use a flash. even then i could flash and then exit the ult but it takes so long to pull out my gun that the flash doesnt matter. his ult basically got nerfed in my own opinion

In low elo you can consistently use the clone as a body shield, pop one and when the enemies shoot it you can peek and kill them.

So I have 300 hours on yoru and am a release Yoru main I’m Immortal 3 and so I kinda wanna clarify when the best times are to act like a decoy, sending your clone the same spot isn’t that bad, you can condition the enemy team to not shoot your clone and if you want you can decoy

Yoru’s best combo is breach or any character that can support Yoru from a far, Yoru and Breach should be meta on fracture as both of them having ult is an UNLOSABLE round (Yoru is only affected by flashes in his ult and nothing else)

His tp is meant for aggressive plays not getting out like chamber. Plus hes honestly a better pick right now than reyna phoenix and neon imo. He doesnt need another buff because you said hes good so hes viable. Saying hes good but not viable makes no sense.

his tp is not at all meant for aggressive peaking and getting out of sticky situations, instead his tp is intentionally a slow tp which u can use in many ways by fake tping tping in the back of site and now there are 2-3 tp's so that make it more viable and I don't even think they will add an agent which can get out of sticky situations like jett or chamber as that wld be repetitive so ya, yoru is a different kind of duelist and it is difficult to master and if u master him u will be a demon, hope that changed ur thoughts abt yoru

TIP FOR CLONE FAKE IN LOW ELO: Low Elo players will always shoot the clone. The best way to combat this is buy a clone every round and send it out every time. They will shoot it enough times and eventually learn that you “always” send it out first and it isn’t you. NOW you can fake them out after a few round of doing this.

@@boredsailor4011 this is how i did it so you can do it: Use a blinding, (Q move) and blind some people (2 at the least) when they get blinded SHOOT, no spaces and kill them. when you go to plant a spike use your C move to see if anyone is there in the direction of where you will plant, if nobody is there plant the spke, use E move and run away and hide. once you see people there use a fake tp because they will be waiting and use Q (optional) and kill them

Yoru clone needs to be expensive, having a full body clone with that much outplay potential only for 100creds seems too op for me, but anyway he is at least viable and fun to play agent now, let's hope we get pheonix rework soon as he is the one who is worst agent in the game now

yeah i agree, but i think you should be able to buy all abilities first round so i would reduce the ridiculous price of the flash from 250 down to 200 at most and make the clone cost 200
