I have this saw, I use it with the 4 ah regular batteries and the tool doesn't bog down but I do use the Diablo 12" 3 tpi blades that cost 3 for $32, used it to cut a tree stump with continuous full power and the 4 ah battery lasts 25 minutes, I have 4 4ah batteries and it took 2.75 batteries to finish the job. The saw warmed up but it did not stop working, love it. The previous day I had used the saw to cut branches on a 30+ foot tree, with one 4 ah battery did 50+ cuts sizes 1" to 3" on the tree branches no problem still had power left on the battery. I would suggest that you buy the 6 ah max output batteries for this saw because it is very power hungry and to also get the best blades, don't cheap out on blades, the blades do the cutting, get the best blades Diablo carbide 50x "longer life".

When Ridgid releases tools they need to improve they're combo kits over the other tool companies. A lot of the time I will not buy or I will go partners with someone because some of the tools in combo kits are useless and I believe it would be better if you could always build your own combo kit because I know I would spend more if I could build my own combo kit.

Good afternoon brother what's up, Ridgid Tools are really putting everything into the circle of tool brands and that's only better for the consumer because For the Longest Time Milwaukee and DeWalt were the go too for the professional but with these other tool companies improving their brands it's better for the consumer. The more competition the better the prices you're going to pay for the tools and that's great. Vince did a video on new tools Ridgid is releasing it's basically your past videos in one. Question does any of these tool companies have any high speed cameras that can slow down and backup the claims on 3200 or 3000 Strokes per minute because how do we know that's true or not and they're basing that off a fully charged battery what happens when the battery loses charge what does The Strokes drop down to because that might be a deal-breaker where they're trying to now save as much power as possible and that's why sometimes it takes forever to cut through wood something to think about
