The Upper Nolichucky River is a place Ive always wanted to go. Parker, JD and I decided we would take the @trackerboats for a trip and check it out. We were able to find a public access point and ran the @MercuryMarine for about 5 miles of this river that’s over 100 miles long! It is a beautiful place that hasn’t been messed up by development yet. We had a ball and caught a ton of fish. Since it was new water for us we set up a series of challenges that would help us gauge our day on the water. Our challenges were: catch a double, catch 15 fish, catch a 3lb or over and have our best 5 weigh at least 10lbs. Nothing too crazy on these goals but we felt this would be a good day on the water for early July in our part of the world. We also decided we would make a donation to a river conservation group if we caught a double… I hope its a good one!
