If you’re planning on putting your own motors, esc’s etc in it. Get the rollers for making an all out speed car. If your plan on keeping it stock pay the $599 and keep as is. Make this one the shelf queen! Then get the roller for those other motors if have the 💵…
I always keep these inexpensive radios in case I every sell the car, the buyer is new to RC and wants a ready to run setup to get started. I got the AK-917 full carbon and love it. The dual motor looks like a nice car.
I have the same one. Threadlock all the grub screws , tighten the motor screws ! I am over 90mph with the stock batteries with more in it. I did change the radio and I set the suspension and toe to my liking.
the reason they did that was so they could get those car out quicker ..the letter they sent my friend explained why they sent it with those motors . and wow everyone got extra motors and they are still bitter. i got a roller i wish they would have sent me some free motors
You don’t need to fill the diffs with million fluid like some guys do. It just creates resistance which creates heat and will reduce speed. Just make sure they have fluid. A lot of fast guys have done nothing with their diffs. I think you made good choices. You can always sell the remote and buy a better one but that one is okay. You just need to adj. to your preferences and take your time. Avoid a road with curbs or you are asking for trouble especially if your new. Have fun!

Ditto. Just got mine with the glossy operation instructions but no hint of a reasonable installation guide, geared toward carbon fiber, 787 or any other model with the features they have. 🤔😞🤷🏻♂️
Same here. I was planning to order one when they pulled that promo and weren’t answering emails. I just went ahead and got a single carbon fiber for $319 and finding my thrills just trying to up the pinion to bigger one supplied and bigger batteries. Not really up to all the engineering and dexterity to create something I can’t, really, use to its limits just for coolness, vanity, bragging. Too old for that and too busy, too. 😊

Honestly, appreciate the effort to make this video but it’s just repetitive and a bit spoiled brat feeling. If the still bigger batteries didn’t exist, you would be beyond happy with what you have. I would be way more interested to see your video on exactly how you modified anything and how you achieved still higher speeds in the world we live in. 🙄😂🤛🏻
