Rlaarlo / Croboll wicked FAST Buggy is AWESOME! - “Tweaky the Evil Bug” 

I know I’m late to the party, but I also have this buggy with the same problem with the servo not re-centering. The problem with that believe it or not is actually the steering linkage that is sandwiched between the second floor and the steering assembly .If you’re looking at the front of the buggy, it’s that piece right below the front body clip mine is carbon fiber, cause I got the carbon, fiber edition, but I think on that one if you have the metal edition, it’s a metal piece. If you look carefully, it’s rubbing against the second floor plastic when the wheels turn. I had to take mine out only two screws, and actually sand the carbon fiber piece and put it back in. It was a very easy fix don’t ask me how I noticed it, but I also thought it was a week servo, or a twitchy servo or something else going wrong. Just thought I would share that with everybody. 17:07

They must finally figured out all the quality issues. Seems pretty durable. Every time we take our Rlaarlo or Amoril buggies out we break one or both and we aren’t anywhere near as hard on em as you were in this video

Brilliant review and test! That bumper may have prevented some of that extensive damage. Kind of fugly though!😝 I had this car and sold it to a guy I work with so I could by Rlaarlos AM-X12. I never even got a chance to review it. It looked amazing though. Rlaarlo’s on a roll and making some awesome rc’s , with some more new ones to come this year. This car your testing was when things started getting serious for them. My brushed version of this jumps awesome as well. I had to laugh about you back yard race track as I do the same thing. The heavier faster trucks will definitely chew some of that grass down. My 14 yr old still likes to drift his go kart in the grass , so that helps cut a trail too! 😆 This car rocks, brother, glad to see you got your hands on one. I could tell your not disappointed! They look a lot closer to 1\16 than 1\14. Nevertheless, great rc and super fast fot the size. I am in the process of converting my 16890a pro into a small buggy (thinner 75mm grippy tires, lower body posts with trimmed shell, new esc and transmitter for 3s power and shocks mounted more horizontally to lower CG and leave it less tippy). So far happy with the results but after 50kmh any steering input is a crash almost certain LOL

When you know how to fix, rebuild and fabricate a little, a little tweakage isn't so bad. We have to test the products 🥺😂😂😂👌👌 bad little buggy. Now i need one.

Ended up getting this over here in CA and first drive was after a rain so I did some mud and grass runs at the park. The grass is a bit long now but this little buggy smashed through it all and the mud. that was the most rainy day fun in a while. I put the front bumper which keeps the front down and I think would have prevented your bent chassis. I went with the metal version and its like a tank.

I had the purple One, broke lots of stuff pretty easily, reached out to Rlaarlo for suggestions and Radio Silent,.... And that was from a sponsored RC 😂😂😮😢... For my bashing it just not 3ven close held up. For just track use might be fun..... Pulled some sikkk bump front flips with it in review video. Still sitting broken on the shelf because shock caps stripped and didn't want to buy new shock for something else to just break. Hope you have better luck

Great video, i just ordered this yesterday on Amazon for $149 and got a balance charger for it and a 3s lipo all for $200 and i am very impressed with it. You gotta love next day shipping and i cant believe this buggy is only $149. Also being able to turn the throttle down is awesome cause my 4 year old can drive it. This thing is bad ass.

I have this truggie too. Oddly the power button on mine is located in front of the engine in its right side. Not in center. I like it a lot. I wish they had included installed lights on it, but maybe I can add some?! great video. Peace.

Most don't know there are many models in the Rlaarlo / Croboll 1/14 scale series, and they all differ in one way or another. I favor the CTR, I think they came the closest to hitting the mark( rang, durability, control, ability to take 3S batteries, etc) over all than the other models, so far, 2024.🤷

The chassis seems pretty much the same as my wltoys buggy i modified a few year back..i put a 3650 4600 kv with 65 amp esc..very fast car on 2s and mine drives very nice..i just checkout the wltoys newest version of the 12th scale buggy that has speed record 130 mph...i always wanted that slightly longer wheel base buggy...its 43 mph on 2s...i think 60 on 3s using a good battery..

buggies can't withstand such jumps because the wheel suspension takes all the shocks, and the bottom plate bends in the nose shocks and after that the cardan shaft is bent

you got the 14 scale buggy, you might have the 12 scale one too just not wltoys brand :D so yeah the new 124008 does fix the taco chassis thing by being plastic. has a beefy metal bumper that i'm not sure about tho. i've whacked a few things but not broken the chassis where the bumper meets yet any gps system takes a while to find enough satellites, usually about a minute. they removed this feature on the newer versions tho, and they downgeared and downsized the motor a bit in the latest one (plastic setup is a lot lighter)

That thing looks sweet.!!! I've been subbed for ages & truly do enjoy your channel, so please don't think I'm being a dick for saying this, it's not just you, most RC RU-vidrs do it.. When talking about the size of a brushless motor they'll say something like "It's a 3600Kv motor so it'll be quick"... But that's like describing your car's engine by saying... "I'ts got a 6,000 rpm engine" when obviously you'd say something like "it's got a 3.5 litre that revs to 6,000" The physical size of an RC motor combined with its Kv rating is the important part, you could have two motors, each 3600Kv.. One is a 3660 & the other a 2840... Obviously the 3660 will be the more powerful one.! (more torque/handle higher gearing) (for people who don't know, these numbers relate to the physical size of the motor in millimeters, so a 3660 is 36mm diameter & 60mm in length) I hope you get where I'm coming from & aren't offended.. This small RC has a 2847, 3200Kv motor, that's quite an impressive motor size for this type or RC.!!.. It's a shame to not point it out.. The receiver is crooked, I think there is a gyro in the receiver, it should be positioned straight with the center brace

You should rent a sodcutter to remove the grass in the backyard if you want to build the track. They work great for removing grass. You probably want to pick up a laborer to help you though because it's not easy.

I did that same thing to my tlr Typhons chassis and it was a pain in the @$$ to bend back to close to normal but finally got it straight so it wasnt crab walking anymore.

No matter what brand u have arma hyper go riaaro traxxas the wheel nuts from factory sonetimes arent fully tighten i had to always double check my typhon and others as well always tighten every nut b4 first run lol
