LOVE the honesty

This is a very exciting release! I bought the “o.g” Elysium two years ago and I love it, but as everyone knows it lacks in the performance department. It smells WONDERFUL, however, and that’s by far more important (to me) than performance. Since you say that there’s not a lot of difference between this and the original, I think I’ll hold off on this one until my first bottle runs out!

I appreciate your fair take on it. I learn to stay away from the other RU-vid reviewers with 3 or 4 clips flashing the same free bottle of this fragrance and all the ass kissing BS that serve little food to viewers.

Scandal Parfum Cologne really lasts on my skin. I wish that Roja could achieve the same longevity with Elysium. I’m taking Eau Intense with me on a staycation with my lady. I hope the scent doesn’t disappoint as the longevity isn’t that important as I can respray at the resort.

Would you say Elysium eau intense is more of a casual every day Elysium? I sampled it I like and it feels like something I can wear to the office that has the Elysium DNA without the party vibes if you will lol

Do you prefer this one or the original EDP? and the original Parfum? Btw came to say hello as I consider you the best fragrance-related youtuber out there. You give very down-to-earth recommendations and accurate descriptions, from multiple angels and relative to other fragrances. Its very valuable in a field like scents which can be very subjective. Here I just missed your personal opinion on whether you consider it better than the OG EDP, than the Parfum (and why) or didn't make you mind yet.

Is it strong I like strong colognes

In my opinion, a fresh citrus perfume you can't just put on 3 or 5 sprays and pretend it lasts 10 hours. that type of perfumes minimum you have to put between 10 and 15 sprays. you have to be generous. I understand that it is a very expensive perfume, but I suppose that whoever buys it has enough perfumes to rotate and that it does not wear out so quickly.

It’s a flanker is should have the DNA of the original…. It’s definitely not redundant at all. The rhubarb note is a new and key note. it’s defo not a screamer though but it’s not a slouch either. Maybe the travel atomiser impacted your experience. I’ve got the FB and the travel spray. The original is bright and airy. Eau intense is sharper and more dense almost coming off like an aquatic fougre.

This is definitely not redundant at all. It has the DNA but it has a completely different character. This is what a flanker should be. This is so dense and has depth not like the OG
