Join us at New Romney Caravan Park near Dungeness in Kent, where we stay in our Roller Team Auto-Roller 707 motorhome with our two rescue chihuahuas.
It's a mix of touring pitches and static caravans, only a few minutes' walk from the pebble beach, with facilities like a Spar close by. There's a barrier, you'll need to leave a £10 cash deposit at reception for a fob, which will be refunded when you return it.
The touring area of the site itself is split into 3 areas. Most pitches are grass but we had a hardstanding with EHU and water. The modern facilities block was in our field; it was kept clean and warm. Showers require a token from reception; we used our onboard facilities so can't comment further. There are only a few toilets and showers so there could be a lot of demand if it's busy.
Apart from a drive over motorhome waste disposal, there are all the usual facilities you'd expect from a campsite. Laundry and drying are further into the statics' area, where you'll also find a play area and the Hoy Club which serves drinks and snacks and has entertainment.
Despite being in a built up area, it was nice and quiet when we stayed and felt quite rural.
