Hi Jamie i recently heard this from Dr.Axe who is a doctor of natural medicine. He suggests eating honey from your local farmer because your body will then adapt to the environment. He said he did this and his allergies went away.

(Silent viewer here) I also have VERY similar allergy issues and it also gets better/worse when I move from state to state. I saw an allergy specialist recently and had an allergy test done. He told me humidifiers can actually make dust mites worse. Allergy pills and Flonase never seemed to work for me, but I FINALLY found a routine that helps: no humidifier, hot shower with steam/Netty pot, Pataday eyedrops, Zyrtec or Benadryl as needed, and most importantly Ryaltris nasal spray. I really hope this helps!!

Humidifiers are good for dry air Air purifier in the bedroom works great, in addition to regular vacuuming and damp dusting/wiping as apposed to dry Dusting which can add more allergens in the air Also, if you habent already, I'd suggest seeing an allergist for more forma allergy testing and consider immunotherapy, if your a candidate. Theres injections or some sublingual options too. Best of luck. Hopefully things get better when the neighboring construction is all done. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

@@JamiesJourneymy allergy specialist gave me a bunch of tips and tricks with my allergies. My blood tests showed that I have severe home dust allergies and dust mite allergies. I bought a dehumidifier since one of the tips is to keep humidity at 40% and it has helped a lot. Also no to real plants since they can make.my symptoms worse. Zyrtec works very well with me medicine wise.

I saw you use the Zep wall cleaner and wall mop and I love it, and my 13 year old granddaughter does as well. She recently helped me clean the bathroom and used the cleaner and mop, then she used the mop with the Oxi-Clean foam cleaner in the bathtub she did an amazing job! She was so impressed with the cleaners she took them home to use on her bathtub and surround at her house. She used the Zep wall cleaner on a wall that their 2 dogs always rub against when they come in the door. It came out so clean, she was pretty proud of herself.

Happy Sunday!! There is nothing like having a room with one's own "Style".You took Avery's "Blank Space" and turned it into a room of her "Wildest Dreams" (see what I did there 😉) . I'm a Taylor fan too and as you can tell by the songs, 1989 is one of my favorite albums for her! But in all seriousness, Avery's room looks amazing!! And I have that chicken shredder. You used in one of your other videos and I think I bought it right after! It is a lifesaver!!!

One of my daughters developed Urticaria which is an allergic reaction to temperature and weather changes. She would get rashes on exposed skin like face, back of neck, wrist area between gloves and sleeves. At first we thought it was just to cold living in Alaska but when she moved to Florida she had similar reaction to high heat and humidity..

Re: your allergies. Make sure you tell your allergist you are living in a new build house with lots of carpeting. Try and find out what the carpets are made of. When I was a kid I couldn’t sleep with the door shut in my newly carpeted bedroom. Puffy eyes, bloody nose, the works. I also cannot be around wool. Just a thought.

Girl I am so sorry you are having allergy issues. Allergies are the WORST. My oldest daughter and I have them so bad. She's already missed four days of her senior year she's been so miserable (they started the beginning of August). It sucks to have to wait that long. Hopefully when you get in they can get you all squared away quick. Hang in there!

Just a tip for the fruit flies, they can come in with the produce you buy especially bananas. If you wash them with a little bit of baking soda as soon as you bring them home it should reduce the amount of fruit flies you see. The flies apparently lay eggs in the banana stem.

For when you go to see the allergist, they typically test for a bunch of common molds caused by water damage. If you are allergic to any of those I would consider if you’ve ever been exposed to water damage or mold in your current or previous homes. That would be another cause for symptoms flaring in the winter. Certain people can’t handle mold exposure as well as others, so it is possible for you to have symptoms and no one else in your family to have them. Hope you get some answers!
