Essentially enough in this expansion alone to play a whole game of root! You get 2 maps, 3 factions, a deck of cards, and hirelings. All you are missing are the dice and vagabond tokens which you dont really need for all games or can easily supplement. Its kinda like a second core box set ❤
Enjoyed this! Just a heads up. Its pronounced DI-AS-PO-RA like die as pour ahh. Ususally associated with displaced peoples. They knocked it out of the park with this set.
On the one hand, incredibly excited for this new content and kickstarter. On the other hand, dreading how we would need to redesign the WW data sheet to capture all variations of the Knaves in our game logs.
20:06 you’re wrong, I don’t have any of it! I play digital! lol. Although, I wish I could get my friends to play this game, I’d do the $150 pledge otherwise
@@colesrootchannel u never know, but i have a feeling it will be. saw a lot of videos that convinced me it will be fun and i could convince my partners too, so players are there. :D
Isnt the Better Bots the first fan content to be oficialized? I'm disapointed that the deluxe clearing markers only come with 12. So they don't cover the extra clearings of the new swamp map...
Ah yes I forgot about this since I’ve never played with Clockwork but you’re right! Also I’m 99% sure Josh said the max clearing count will still be 12, specifically to accommodate use of the deluxe clearing markers. No idea how they’re going to accomplish that though lol
@@OrdemDoGraveto Yes but from what I understand they’re never going to all be used at once. There are three major landmarks that make three of the clearings more significant, and some of the clearings will flood and be closed off depending on player count.
@@colesrootchannel I assumed It was 9 clearings for 3 players and 15 for 5 players. The whole point of the map is being larger (or smaller) for different player counts.
So, are the twilight Council, the bats, secretly trying to take over the woodland, through becoming the adjudicators of the woodland, or do they genuinely just want peace to the woodland, through becoming the un of the woodland, exept it actually works?(exept it actually works!😂)
I believe the inspiration is more UN-coded but you can assign whatever motivation you want to them lol, their strategy might end up painting them in a completely different light
What kind of peace do the bats want? Do they have alterior motives? Does the twilight Council, want to take over and rule the woodland, or do they just want to be the woodland un that works?
It really bothers me when I can tell there’s music playing in a video but I can’t make it out at all, so that comes out in how I edit. Sorry if it’s too loud for you, I’ll turn it down a bit next time!
I don't know why, but for some reason I thought Lord of the Board's real name was Cole. So this whole time I totally thought you were Lord of the Board lol.
hopefully the knaves are viable but not too powerful or at least have more benefit to other players when policing. I assume the point is to balance the vagabond a little. Super cool way to do that
