Bill said it perfectly. This is why I have been seriously considering becoming Republican. I'm tired of being led by calm, cool, collective beta males who are as exciting as a Big 5 catalog. Gave this the ol' thumbs up. Some very good points made. The Republicans have talked a good game about "traditional family values," but now that we see that they don't really give a damn maybe Democrats can stop trying to purge themselves of anyone who isn't a sexual saint. "Hey we, we can be moralist whiners too!" My problem with Spitzer isn't that he was with a hooker; my problem with Spitzer is that he was one of the most loudly anti-hooker politicians out there, obsessed with "cleaning up" and ruining the lives of working girls... and he was with a hooker. Hypocrite anybody? The whole "alpha male" thing was originally coined to describe the behavior of wolves, not human beings. It turns out that it isn't even accurate when applied to wolves. The whole "he's an alpha! HOO-YA!" thing is bullshit. Make that wolfshit. You know who else was very good at projecting a macho image? No, not Hitler. Mussolini.
