Anyone remember Blinky_plz? He was a Mercy OTP streamer but also worked at Blizzard's esports events department... got the number of a 14yr old girl off their system who'd won a competition and started messaging her. I remember hearing that he shared or wanted to share nudes, dunno if confirmed. Probably the worse case I rem in the OW community.

Not OW but ever heard about CookieLoL? He was a League of legends streamer who did some heavy shit. He groomed, exchanged nudes and mentally/sexually abused minors. That was by far the worst case about any streamer i know about. edit: On top of that, one year later he tried scamming people under a fake alias(as a hacker) by demanding 20k worth of Bitcoins in exchange for chat leaks of cookieLoL(Was himself ofc).

I think that rumor is true but on a technicality and only due to how latters work for competitive games. Main2 things that cause it are this: 1. Players at higher elo are much more consistent so it’s a lot easier to carry because games are much closer 2. Since it’s the top of the latter, your either playing against other people of the same relative skill (with a few exceptions like especially good players) or your playing against players that are lower than you which you easily steamroll.

I dunno guys why are you surprised by that soldier player in plat1. Blizz officially allowed to boost accounts with "wide range". I've seen silver3 streamer boosted by 4 viewers to plat4. He is getting 17% for win when solo players getting 20%. And it is every 4th game against 4-5 stack in gold/plat, so imagine how much players like that in ranked.

@@bentocod the problem with that is it invalidates the matchmaking period. Shows that its rigged and not based on 50/50 chance either side could win. Rigging matches to force a 50/50 is cancer. Would also explain why the community in general is cancer. You get what you give.
