We've just bought this washing machine. Very easy to use and sings to me when it finishes a cycle. Love it!! I didn't read about delayed washing or anything, lazy but thought I'd come and find out online. Great video, thanks!. Set reminder for drum clean and checking filter and wanted to find out about detergent use as I feel I might be using too much. Such a good review, so clear and oh so useful. Appreciate it!
Very nice review. I bought this model based on your review and I did not have any difficulty in setting it up and start washing because you explained it really well and in detail. I specifically liked the general do's and don't about the use of washing machine in daily life for a longer running and less maintenance. Keep up the good work and thank you.
@@thepostalteenager2206 I have owned one for 11 years, never any problems, no repairs! Just stopped,, so now looking for another. What exactly have you heard?
Thanks mate for your video. It helped me save $850 in buying new machine. The 11 year old machine filter had a clogged filter and machine didn't show any error but won't start the cycle. Once I cleaned the filter, its working back again like new :)
Got it brand new and with light use (once a week/ just normal clothing) 11 months it broke down 02 times. The second time it took more than 5 weeks to get sorted but after numerous phone calls it finally got replaced. just got it because the flat laundry place only gave me option to a front loader machine option, and I have never faced Samsung issues with my other tech items. I definitely DON'T RECOMMEND this machine unless you have no other option and get a very good deal/ or must have a Samsung, In that case, you should get an extended warranty if possible. I observed that it is bad enginery designed parts set to fail in a couple years time or even less ( in my case) Got told by the service experts that nothing I've done wrong with it by using or installing it. Not here to convince anyone, just to worn, ..!! ps, .. The bubble soak function isn't available for all washing modes, would be nice if they advertised it properly, .. Good luck, ..
12:35 I've always only put the tiniest bit of washing powder in front end loaders. I used to do dirty jobs like vegetable farming, waterproofing/epoxy flooring and working as a metalworker. A 30 min cycle with just a sprinkle of powder always did the job fine. When I was metalworking my clothes just needed an occasional soak in oxy action plus or something. I don't know what people working office jobs are doing to need more than that hahah
Love my Samsung front loader. Although my washing isn't very dirty I use the longer cycles for the better rinse and spin performance. I only use the quick cycle for anything that just needs a freshen up.
Thank you for your clear and informative explanations of how to get the best out of my new Samsung washing machine. The instructions that came with the machine are not particularly helpful and I have found your short videos invaluable. You give the info out in such a simple and articulate way. Brilliant!
The one thing i don't like is that you need to cycle through all of the options to get to the one you want. Imagine wanting to get to the last options and cycling through all of them. Good review though
15:15 Correction: capacity of washing machines is DRY clothes not wet. So an 8kg washing machine means it can take 8kg of dry clothes. For someone calling themselves "Mr Washy Washy" you should know this!!!
Just bought this machine - thanks for the Vlog, well done. Sorry I might have missed your comment - but once the wash job is completed, any suggestion leaving the door open slightly, or dry wiping the door seal ?
Really helpful and informative! I learned a ton about this machine! We are staying at a friend's house and he has this unit... he didn't know how to use it because he just bought it and then went out of town, so we are on our own. That said... HOW DO YOU START THE BLOODY THING?!???! All this superb modern luxury touch panel business, and there is so "start" button? I am laughing so I won't cry. I cannot turn it on! Now I know how fast it will spin (if I could turn it on) and how hot the water would be (if I could turn it on) and how to clean the filter (if I could turn it on)... but... I can't turn it on! Anyone here know? Thanks! 🙂
The maximum capacity of the washer is determined not by the weight of the wet clothes, but of the DRY ones. So what you're assuming about putting more than half the capacity would brake the washer is definitely not true :)
Hi thanks for your input. Based on my experience fixing these over the years I believe it to be true. Anyone can load it the way they want but the material used of the spiders on most modern washers doesn’t support a lot of weight. You also have to be conscious the strain once it starts trying to spin. This is when most cracks start to develop. At full spin not much strain
In terms of reliability of Samsung vs. LG washing machine, which one do you find to be better please? And which one provides better aftersale service in your opinion?
A really nice video. Thanks for all the info you provided. How about the eco bubble technology? How can one set a bubble pre soak or in general turn on bubbles during wash?
Thanks for the detailed instructions. I have a Stirling Dryer that I want to Put on top of this machine. But it shakes and weaves a lot. Any tips if this is designed for having a dryer on the top ?
Can we increase the volume of the load, such as towels shows max 4 kg, can I increase up to 8 or 9 because it shows pointless of buying 8.5 kg and spending 2 hrs of washing and more time to dry it up.
You can put in as many towels as you want. The volume of the load on the machine is just a suggestion. Most people don't follow the suggestions of the machine
The weights given are dry weights. But towels absorb much more water so the total weight ends up higher, and more stress on the machine. If you overload often, it will affect how long your machine will last. Towels vary in size of course, so it's worth weighing yours to see how many will fit comfortably. Put a large supermarket bag on the scales, set to zero, then pile in towels.
No washing machine throughly cleans a full load in less than an hour unless it is not very dirty. Yhese days long cyles are the most economical. Unfortunately most people do not understand why.
I need help! I bought the same machine week ago but Mine is shaking horribly while spinning. I m feeling very sad as I was really looking forward to my new set of washer and dryer..
I was in the store to look at that machine. Why is the plastic in the upper part very thin and weak, when I press my finger under the display it wobbles and knocks, when I tap my finger it makes a sound? The container for crackers and softeners is also very thin, it has no mass. I don't know why it was done so cheaply??
I can’t understand why new machines take soo much longer to do a single load. I have a 12 year old Westinghouse that can do a full, normal cycle in 45 minutes.
I just bought the samsung wd13, 13kgwasher 8kg dryer what I dont like about this is its taking way too long. I hope you can make a video on how to make cycles faster.
Just a quick question but are the washing machine cleaners that you can buy on the market safe to use on this washing machine during one of its cleaning cycle programs it has or do you recommend running the clean cycle with out anything?
2 years later, but I'm about to buy Samsung WW5300 where there is a "time delay" function, like what you showed my 10:20... This is not what we expected, we want delay START, I want to be able start the machine in 3h not that it will be ready in 3h.... Very strange that this function doesn't seem to exist, it was on my 9 year old washing machine...🤔🤔
the machine always jams about checking water supply eventhough the water supply is perfectly fine😊😊May i know what is the reason of this kind of problem?thank u😊😊
I had the same problem with my I called Samsung and they were very helpful they can and fixe it But I will suggest check the water supplier, the pressure might be affected to the point that when you are doing your washing and someone is having their shower it affect the water supply and displays check water supply.
I’ve just bought the 10.5kg capacity Samsung washer/dryer and this video was very helpful thank you. Can you please explain about the liquid detergent guide as I’ve never used one in my previous machines as I put the liquid detergent directly in the drum. Is it better to put it in the drawer first and use the guide?
Thanks for a great review. For what it is worth: It is not a good idea to say it takes 8.5kg WET. WHO IS GOING TO TAKE THE WASH OUT WET AND WEIGH IT? Who? Nobody!!! So why not state the DRY load? At least that I could weigh! Stupid to state 8.5kg, when it probably only takes 5kg WET CLOTHES!
Thanks for the review, I notice with the Samsung and LG washers that they don't have a a emergency release for the door (say if theres a power failure during the cycle), have you found this? thanks for your time putting this vid together
I just buy this washing machine and I don’t know how works the bubble soak .. I read the instructions and did everything but it didn't work , so please explain to me in detail.!! 😓
Hi wondering if you’ve done any following up videos referring to how it’s going a year later, or the AI app? ☺️ about to purchase today after my Haiser broke 😭
I purchased a Haier washing machine aswel and lasted A week engineer could not fix it so was returned on Sunday for a full refund Shame because the drum and spin was super quiet but Haier customer service was a nightmare
Fantastic video, in which option do I put the descaler tablet in the machine? And do I put the descaler tablet in the washing powder section or in the drum directly?
Hi you do not need to put descaler in this one, put it on drum clean option with nothing in it. If you still wanna put some in there put it straight in the drum
Hi, i just bought this one and i love it. Do you have a video about the Samsung tumble dryer heatpump 8kg pls? Its like this model. I m having problems knowing what temperature are the cycles since there is no temperature setting. Thanks
hi they dont have temperature settings, they don't have a heating element in them. I did a demo of the 10kg, they have similar settings. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-sVXlslXKIag.html
Hi have you done a demo of this machine with the iOS App? Hoping the app will be accessible with VoiceOver. The panel underneath the display had a row of horizontal tactile indicators, I know they are for the touch buttons above but wondered if there is anything similar tactile for the power button and the start stop button?
Hi Mark. Currently doing the demo for the iOS app, Video will be up in a few days. I know they do Voice Over with their smart stoves, hopefully that crosses over to these washing machines
Hello, which cycle do you use for your wash? It turns out our washing machine does not clean the clothes properly. We have to wash the same clothes twice, sometimes thrice to get them cleaned. Each cycle is about 2 hours, and in general we are spending 4-6 hours of washing time every week. Our previous top loader used to wash the same 5kg load of clothes in 1.3hours. Perhaps we are not using the correct settings. Any help or idea will be greatly appreciated.
Nobody has really explained the number of rinses. To wash you dose washing powder and a rinse liquid to the proper place in the drawer. Then how this Samsung machine applies multiple rinse - is the FIRST rinse consuming the rinse liquid (fabric softener)? And then this first rinse finishes and the second rinse starts (hey, no more fabric softener in the drawer, right?) so it uses only water for the second rinse (so technically removes the fabric softener from your clothes), and then the second rinse finishes and the third rinse starts (yeah, again no softener in the drawer) so your clothes are water-rinsed again, and with fourth and fifth rinse the same, so finally you were an idiot using the fabric softener at all? Or PERHAPS it applies all rinses BUT the "last one" with the water flowing through the washing powder compartment in the drawer, and ONLY applies water through the softener compartment so the fabric softener is only applied during the very last rinse? This is totally not clear
Exceellent washer but the cycles are a bit too long without adding anything to the end result (compared to my previous machine). Would love a possibility to adjust the time as there is to change temperature etc. If you have the dryer as well, it takes an afternoon to wash and dry a load of clothes, mixed cooton and synthetic. This is far too long…
Maybe try the timed cycles and not the weight timed ones. I think you can download quicker cycles online. Dryer wise you have to keep an eye on how much you put in there. In general washer dryers take longer to dry as they have to keep the drum cool by pouring water into the drum during a dry cycle. If you want quicker times and have the space Separate washer and dryer is the way to go
Mr washy washy I do have separate washer and dryer… and never have big loads being alone. The other thing I would have liked to have is a rel user manual. The leaflet that is provided does not cover anything about the various programmes and options and how to use them. I learned more on youtube…
@@daniwrig2155 hi timed ones are available as you scroll down the menu. To download more cycles you need the samsung smart things app and download new ones from there
Thanks for the video! Could you tell me if it is possible to turn the sound off? Because it has been driving me mad. The machine is really quiet when washing, but the sound when starting the machine and when it finishes the cycle is ...... annoying.....
I wash some bedding and when the cycle was complete, there was water left in the machine so I didn’t open it. I put on drain and spin cycle. This machine is less than 1 month old. What do you think?
Hi did it have any errors ? With the bedding wash setting it doesn’t fast spin and will have some water left in there to protect the bearings and shaft from overloading due to uneven weight from the blankets
Hello Mr washy washy do you have long term review on this model? Does it last long without any major issues? I'm about to buy the washer dryer model of this one specifically WD11T654DBX/TC 11/7KG
@@askmrwashywashy have had some electricity dips at home thought it was a capacitor 🤔 it fills with water and everything but just gives a humming sound and doesnt spin it tried to and moves a cm
I have a question, i have same machine and today morning i noticed my machine's cotton option which was 1 hrs 27 mins suddenly it has changed to 3 hrs. I don't understand 😕 anything
