🚨I did film this BEFORE I decorated for Christmas, if you're confused! I wanted to get all of my videos done for November early so I could spend this Thanksgiving week off with my kids since they were off of school! I hope you had a FANTASTIC weekend and Thanksgiving holiday! 🦃 Now it’s time for Christmas!! We had an amazing Thanksgiving and long weekend! I’ve been busy doing online shopping, playing with the girls and relaxing! 🥰 I hope you enjoy our dining room makeover! I didn’t realize how much I would enjoy that space until it was decorated. I’ve been spending time in their editing, planning and not to mention, eating! Your new dining area looks fabulous! Flows nicely with the rest of your decor in your house. Great choices! For your basement bathroom, I would skip the extra rug. I think you are right with adding art work and maybe a usable shelf above the toilet would make it feel more put together.

I love what you did with the dining room! And to answer your question about the basement bathroom rug, i think it might be "missing" the rug that you would step out of the shower from. So you could look for a decorative rug that doubles as that. And maybe some cute artwork.

Everything looks beautiful! What about a black metal shelving unit behind the toilet. Most have 2 shelves where you can put towels and decor especially plants. They have terry cloth bath mats that can be stored on the shelves and put down if someone uses the shower. I changed my decore and faucets to black and foung the unit on amazon for behind the tiolet good prices with black friday. It made a world of difference and filled the space. Perhaps some more towel hooks decorative in the in black metal across from the toilet. I agree no rugs near the toilet. So beautiful Jamie the dining room is my favorite!

Wow Jamie is all I have to say about that dining room! Just absolutely stunning, perfectly “Jamie”. I love the console/sideboard tables in the basement as well. I did find that after moving into our new build my style evolved as well. Your home is really looking amazing, great job to you & Jess! I feel that if you warm up the basement bathroom with greenery & stuff on the wall it wouldn’t necessarily need a rug. I am with you, I don’t have rugs near the toilet. 😊

Definitely I would do a picture of some sort on the wall above where the towel is hanging and maybe some shelves over the toilet and then of course greenery That would really look good. And maybe do a basket with some rolled up tiles in it. Just kind of add more texture to the room.

I think if you could find a long black bath mat or rug (runner-ish), that would be helpful for that space by the shower. I know that’s still close to the toilet😂, but It would also serve a functional purpose for when the shower is used. Also, I absolutely LOVE the dining room! It’s gorgeous!
