My second generation Norwegian mother loved having lutefisk here in western Minnesota at Christmas. Sadly my generation siblings and myself couldn’t get ourselves to appreciate it, so the way she made it has been lost. It was nice seeing that it’s still enjoyed by some in the “old country” today.
I throughly enjoy your showing the difference in the food you make, the interesting sights in Norway compared to here in the United States. I have watched for many years.
Christmas is definitely a treat and even through my advanced years I still feel towards it like a 5 year old and I thank Andreas for sharing his fantastic cooking skills with us. If only we could be there with him. That would be heaven.
I'm looking for the video where he makes the Norwegian meat balls. Can you post that one or send us a link? I've made it several times and its amazing. but I want to see the video again. No clue what season or episode it was.
Paul, I don't have that episode yet, but when I do it'll be here! Here's a recipe from the website though: www.newscancook.com/dinner/norwegian-meatballs-in-gravy
