To what you had said towards the end... yeah it is not coming to PS5 as it is an Xbox exclusive, but it is available on PC as well on launch. If you are getting into sci-fi one of the more recent (kinda sorta) films to watch is Sunshine. Just go in without any trailers watched or looking is up. Amazing cast with many actors you will recognize and a great story. I truly hope you get a chance to play it.

FYI the game is Xbox and PC exclusive. Not on Playstation if you were going that route like you mentioned

Bethesda recently released 3 animated shorts that show 3 different playstyles, all of them look pretty good.

Ummmmm......Meg? It's......not coming out on PS5. It's going to be a Xbox/PC exclusive. So you either must invest in your PC, or buy an Xbox Series X/S. Still, I think it would be a worthwhile purchase, as you have access to three of the four pillars of gaming. Still, I hope you get to experience this game one way or another. 😀😀😀

If you're looking for sci-fi games, Star Wars might be a good place to start, if you like that franchise - there's loads of games to choose from. Off the top of my head, the KOTOR games would be good if you're looking for a BioWare-esque RPG experience, and the Jedi: Fallen Order series are more modern action-y games. The Force Unleashed is another one you might like if you're into hack-and-slash style games. Star Wars aside, Portal's good if you want a puzzle game, and the Deus Ex series (recommend starting with Human Revolution, but up to you) is another sci-fi RPG. Don't know if you've ever played the Fallout games, but the Bethesda/Obsidian games (Fallout 3 / New Vegas / Fallout 4) might be good if you're a fan of Bethesda in general.

Oh yeah. This game is goated. Starfield will be phenomenal. We're in for a treat Edit: And this is only on Xbox Series X/S and PC, not ps5 lol

One game I think you'll love is Outer Wilds! And the less you know about the game, the better! Outer Worlds is another fun one, feels a lot like Fallout 4 and can be sooo funny!

Its XBox and PC only for a long while on launch. Microsoft bought Bethesda a few years back.

Sounds like you want a strong juxtaposition between your character and the cowboy you want to romance. I respect that dynamic, sounds like it could be a ton of fun.

Im super excited for this game. I’m trying to temper my expectations but I can’t help being hyped. This game just needs to be as good as it seems to be. As for other sci-if games I would recommend. Mass Effect is definitely at the top of my list but I do have a couple more: - Halo. I know it kinda has this image of just being some bro shooter in space, but it actually has an amazing story (for the most part) and a gorgeous soundtrack all throughout. Master Chief and Cortana are the epitome of human-AI companionship. The original trilogy was my childhood, these stories have a special place in my heart. - Deus Ex Human Revolution and Mankind Divided. I think you reacted to some trailers for these games already but I think they’d be right up your alley Meg. It’s a very interesting world with a great story and fun stealthy gameplay. I can’t recommend it enough. - Jedi Fallen Order and Jedi Survivor. I don’t know if you have any connection with the Star Wars franchise, but I think you’d really connect with these games’ protagonist and characters. It’s a very cool story and solid gameplay.

The composer for Starfield's soundtrack is Inon Zur. He also did the music for Fallout 4 and Dragon Age Origins, just to name a couple.

alien: isolation, SOMA, and prey are all great sci-fi games !! lots of horror but i also like the stories from all of them, especially SOMA

If you do wind up getting an xbox, then I wholeheartedly recommend the first Halo trilogy along with Halo Reach if you haven't played them before. Wonderful storytelling and interesting characters that you can really get attached to!

The Dev's have been playing the bugs out for quite some time now. I don't expect many if any.

It’s a Xbox and PC exclusive game. But will be day one on Xbox game pass. I’m definitely going to be in my own Firefly world probably going to name my ship Serenity and be a Bounty Hunter.

Citizen Sleeper completely blew me away. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but man it has left such an impression on me. I recommend you give it a try.

A Sci-fi game you should definitely check out is Prey (2017), a thriller story set in a giant space station called Talos I with a great immersive sim gameplay. If you want to get into horror you can also consider Dead Space, a truly masterful work in the genre. Back to Prey, if you actually manage to get a key (but it's super hard these days given that it's not on sale anymore) you can also play Prey (2006), an alien abduction story where you play as a young cherookee in a quest to save his loved ones. It's not at all tied to Prey (2017), they just share the IP brand due to publisher's decision over the 2017 game.

You will need a PC or an Xbox to play this game.

It's coming on gamepass and u can also play on PC, And it might be xbox play anywhere so if u bought on pc u can also play it on xbox with ur save sync from PC

My favorite sci-fi games are Deliver us the moon and Deliver us mars and I would definitely recommend them

I have been waiting fir Starfield for YEARS. Skyrim is my favorite game of all-time and Fallout is also one of my fav's, I'm really rooting for Bethesda. If this game succeeds, then that's a really good sign for The Elder Scrolls VI.

Doctor Who is a very good sci fi tv show. It's got some really good horror and comedy episodes and really clever writing. And has some really progressive characters for the mid 2000s ;) Oh and the Halo trilogy is excellent especially if you enjoy mystical ancient sounding sci fi music

I love how you started it already excited without knowing the release date, and as the reaction continued, you slowly begin to hate the fact you have to wait. Now, you're like the rest of us. You should react to all of the Armored Core 6 trailers and then IronPinapple's gameplay experience. More sci-fi, more excitement, more for me to enjoy.

Sci-fi game rec: I skimmed the comments and didn’t see it yet, so, Outer Wilds. NOT Outer Worlds, which came out around the same time and is excellent, but Outer Wilds is truly mind blowing. It also uses real theoretical physics and and quantum mechanics!!

If you haven’t played it yet, you should absolutely play Outer Wilds (not to be confused with The Outer Worlds). It’s a story driven exploration game through a small hand crafted solar system. For anyone who hasn’t played it yet, it’s best to just dive in knowing nothing. You’ll appreciate the discoveries and moments so much more.

Unfortunately since Microsoft have bought Bethesda, it’s an Xbox and PC exclusive. So won’t be coming to PS5, same as probably all future Bethesda games 😅

halo is a fantastic series and a lot of fun with friends as each campaign is at least 2 player. Aliens, ancient mysteries technology, humanity fighting and exploring the stars in hopes for answers and a way to win their deteriorating war with the covenant. Master chief and his AI companion must save humanity.

Deus Ex and Cyberpunk has a ton of Sci-Fi. However I would hold a bit for Cyberpunk till the DLC is out and a few more bug fixes from that dlc. Even the old school Deus Ex is amazing so you have quite a few in that universe. Also Bioshock, the original is the best.

Never watched a video of yours before so this is odd. I'm rewatching The Expanse right now, on the last season in fact, and it's also got me hyped for Starfield lol

Freelancer is a game that is close to my heart. And looks like Starfield has similar space fighting as Freelancer. Also, Freelancer has Jennifer Hale(Commander Shepard) playing a supporting character in the game for your main character, Commander Jun'ko Zane 'Juni'.

If you love sci fi try out the guardians of Marvels Guardians of the Galaxy game (not the telltale one) it's story won best narrative at the game awards when it came out

I know you don’t plan on doing it until you really get immersed in all Star Wars but the first thing I always recommend when it comes to sci-fi games is Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2, the combat is a bit outdated but there’s nothing else like it in my opinion :)

Love the excitement in this! The Halo series is a great Sci-Fi collection of games and compelling stories. But, if you're looking for a seamless exploration Sci-Fi game, I'd recommend you should give No Man's Sky a try! Prey is another good game, there's so many out there. Welcome to the Sci-Fi Genre!

Science fiction in space Dead Space for sure. Alien isolation. I really enjoyed The Callisto Protocol as well (I don't care what people think about it).

First Space RTS game i played was Homeworld (now remastered), Reminded me of Battlestar Galactica Elite Dangerous I have over thousand hours playing, No Man's Sky an non-insignificant amount of hours played. Space games like those are few. Star Citizen is one to watch. favorite Non Space sci-fi games Cyberpunk 2077, DeusEx : Mankind Devided, Prey, Death Stranding, Detroit Becoming Human, Atomic Heart. And kinda Fantasy Sci-Fi Doom Eternal.
