@@Yitzaak I agree. He’s a very clickbatey tuber that is really only concerned about the competitive side of things, and makes videos about how the game is dead, this and that. If he wants the game to thrive, making those types of videos is not healthy. He cares about the comp scene even though probably 75% or more of the player base are casuals
@@Joepoeeeyup. I don't even have a placement in ranked for this season, and I probably won't for season 3 either. I play casual always. And that's what the point of this game originally was. It was made SPECIFICALLY to be a fun, casual experience. Then you've got all these try hard dorks trying to get any weapon or gadget they lose against nerfed to the ground in an effort to make the game more "competitive". Ironically, they have a very uncompetitive attitude, seeing as they'd rather have something nerfed than get gud and learn how to counter it.
@@Yitzaak yeah, as much as I love playing at a higher risk/reward factor, I also play tons of casual too. I’m also ranked top 2k in comp. I can understand that the backbone of the game is casuals though. They need to cater to them to keep the game going
@@Yitzaak I play the game because it is by far the best online shooter out there 10/10 But with nukes it was a 12/10 game. Sadly got nerfed away for reasons I will never understand, cuz it was very risky to carry a nuke in the first place. Nothing worse than loving something in a game and then it simply gets removed or nerfed to death.

Trippe defib is annoying but not as annoying as the HHM comp. Class queue in ranked might be good for ranked but it also will make healing beam the only specialisation you can use in ranked (coming from a demat main).
Bro low gravity is dope! I love the event system, it forces you to adapt your game play, yeah dead go boom was hell for melee players but orbital lazers is clutch for scatering campers
Not that their rpm is increasing, just that when you pull the trigger it will fire instead of having to pull over and over you can just hold the trigger. Other games have similar mechanics so that semi-auto weapons are more viable.
I think game mode modifiers like low gravity are should be taken out of ranked. But only take out the annoying ones. I would love if they added a modifier. Like Health region on kill or speed modifier.
I don’t think they should. The game is supposed to mimic a game show at its core. Things like this give the game variables out of the players control which is the whole point of the game. It’s not a full just skill based game.
you misread what the text read about toggle fire. It says, SINGLE fire weapons. So the weapons like the pistol where you have to spam click as fast as possible (or just set up a macro like most people do) will now let you hold the button down. Which is an amazing change. It means you won't get repetitive stress injury from spam left clicking on single shot weapons. If this is real, I think the 'virus' effect might be some kind of anti-heal which I suggested a few times on reddit. That could the buff lights need.

12:14 the reason for this change is for guns like the LH1 which is a single fire but needs to be spammed at close range to be effective - this makes it so you don't have to spam and just hold down fire (making it more consistent and less stressful, a QOL change)
Role Lock : In my opinion, if they do this maybe game will get balance. Cuz i lock my best 2 roles and it randomly choose, that will be nice. I have not too much finals friends and i play solo ranked too much. Then i choose my light, teammates trolling on it while short pick up time [ they choose more 2light or 2heavy ]. I can play any role of 3. But it's hard too increase my experience one of my best role because always switching roles. I think team ranked / solo ranked should add ? Sorry for bad english ❤
Role Q would suck. It would mean a friend and I can never play the same role, regardless of the match. Heavies have been nerfed so much that I enjoy playing all 3 classes right now (used to only play heavy season 1). I can see why for balance purposes, but in 5v5 games role locking makes more sense.
I feel like HML lock is kinda wild because not every class is the same. I think only one of each specialization should be allowed like no more than one healing beam for example.
that you can only play one character of each class is a horrible idea, if they want to balance it that way it would be better if you could play 3 of the same class, but each one has to use a different specialization, like 3 mediums but only one with the healing beam, another with the turret and the other with the data reshaper.

Forcing HML compsition in ranked sounds like it would horrible. Forcing people to play with things they don’t like and don’t want to play with, prob barely know how to properly play the role. That, on top of the balance problems would literally kill any interest in a rank mode.

Now if you want to play whatever the highest picked role is, you’re probably going to experience slower que times, but in my opinion that’s how it should be. It’s not forcing anyone to play a certain way, but it is nudging people to play differently.
If they force l m h role que that litterally goes against what embark wants for the game. Role que forcing one team comp personally will suck since and all my friends hate playing heavy.
Sash is already horrible. There is nothing worse than a slow moving heavy just getting jumped around and out of the damage range. So many lights just run away in the open and heavies weapons can't reach them. Two grapples would do exactly the same thing as well.
i fucking hate that they force us into roleque what the fuck. every. time. i love the freedom that it brings to just play and experiment and do random stuff/tactics. there will be no "trustworthy" light in lfgs i fucking swear and que times are gonna be shit, DONT FUCKING DO IT this will be the end of fun.
Imagen just the average Joe playing ranked for 20 hours straight and being one of the first to diamond and then is technically 'top 500' gets the skin and then drops down to top 10k when everyone else catches up cuz they don't play all day
The people crying about the invis on light were simply bad at the game, lights are very easy to kill and the invis was very balanced since it was the only thing making light viable at all. And they crushed it because people are bad at the yame and die to lights that are more skilled than them.
Light is meant to be a glass cannon, but they butcher all of their good options that make light even slightly competitively viable. Invis before visibility nerf was honestly balanced. It took still and awareness to catch a light out, but everyone complained because it was “too hard” buff light
@user-jj9qd9bi8c exactly the whole point of light is to be really fast and swift but easy to kill. Movement is what makes light players, but they were tired of ppl like me killing them and evading 😂 so they begged to get it nerfed.
Ruby rank : They add more rank tier it's good. One most important think is balance ! When i playing on Diamond rank match, randomly silver; gold guys joining on match. That's so weird. Maybe 3 guys queue, one of them smurf. But that's no pair. 2 months ago too many hackers playing and they rank silver rank but playing with match whole diamond players. Can't trust real person or not 🥲
