It’s honestly wicked fun without building, it’s a challenge because you get shot at and can’t pull the builds out but you can use the tac sprint to evade and re position

the entire game was different because the mechanic of building was a thing. you could ya know, put in the effort and learn the core fundamental of a game like the 'sweats' had to.

It’s kinda refreshing and makes you play the game differently which we need from a game that’s so repetitive! I think it’s a smart Segway to introduce smart builds when the being building back

It’s been 4 years since this games release how are you still not good at building you don’t have to be a sweat to be average

The cow catcher also counts as an insta-build item and those instantly break all breakable objects where they land. I found that out when I threw one at a shipping container to get the loot from a chest on top of it.

@@ReeseHosgood yeah and In arena where you can build if someone is full boxed up and you throw one at their wall it instantly breaks it and if they have a cone or ramp in the box it will also break that and they can’t place another cone or ramp so they are basically trapped all you have to do is throw the cow catcher at their wall

Facts I don't even like Battle royals but I like Fortnite because of the building aspect. They might have just lost me for this season unless they had it back.

It’s big enough to where it doesn’t need building to be a big game and it’s a nice refresher since public lobbies are literally sweatier than arenas the only people complaining are the people who don’t wanna do the competitive game mode and wanna sit in public lobbies for high kill games

I respect your opinion, but in my eyes, Fortnite is still a completely different game with different things to offer. I love no building, because you have to really pay attention to your surroundings because if you get shot at, you’ll have to take cover. And since a lot of people will be bush camping, you have to pay attention to that too. Building is obviously what made the game, but now I feel like it could be anyones game, because the sweats can’t make a skyscraper when they get shot at.

I feel you on that, but I think the reason of fortnite doing this with the regular matches is because of the story line they are going for. Sloan taking away building is taking away what makes Fortnite players in the Loop stronger. So she takes it away. Now it’s about movement. But it’s only in regular game modes. It’s still in arena, team rumble and other modes.

people just need to admit the game has a learning curve and accept building. without building fortnite just becomes an awkward third person shooter. it is the entire draw of the game. just because they suck doesn't mean epic needs to fold and shift the game's identity. if they don't want to build they can play a br with no building and fuck off lmao

Nah, I'm happy too BUT I had to learn how to build and now I get confused at least my finger goes to building mode when someone shoots me XD I wish there was a way to use the sprinting though since I'm on controller and have no room for it
