Hmm, lets start for the first five minutes of the game.. if the Enemy exp laner is squishy u can start farming on the opposite side. (Why I mentioned squishy? Because most exp laners are very tough to kill) For example: EXP lane is on the left side, therefore i should farm in the right side and next to the left side. This also applies if u want to grab a kill on the gold lane first. Ex: if gold lane is on the right side then I should start on the left side (blue buff) and then the right side (red buff). Its also important to know that the turtle starts on the side on the exp lane so you might want to visit the exp lane first.. but if the enemies are overextending either on mid, exp, gold, or your jungle you should go for them first. After those series of events.. avoid being greedy and keep on farming until you get your core items so you can be ahead of the enemy jungler and his team. Also pay attention to the turtle. And here comes the late game.. in late game you should play safe and avoid dying because u need the retribution for lord fights and always go for their mages and marksman, ignore the tanks and exp laners.
