That engine is the only downsize engine I have driven that's works just like its advertised. it does 200kmh all day long and has a great fuel consumption
@Shlotti but not too much when the golf has a bigger price than Leon and not by littlebut not too much when the golf has a bigger price than Leon and not by little
Lolz. Seat is +100kg lighter than Golf. It doesnt have independent rear suspensions. Alot of hard plastic inside. And guess what, it had only one job to do.. having a decent manueveribility. But it couldnt even pass the moose test. When this car is out, moose can be added to extinct species list. And the worst of all , but my personal opinion, ambient lighting looks baaad like who on earth put them on top of dashboard...
To me this is better tant Golf 8, but I prefer MK3. Golf MK8 and Leon MK4 are part of the new concept, less buttons, cleaner interface, closer to autonomous driving, and previous generation is more traditional and probably more sport.
like every new car in 2020 , on a 99% perfection road plastic rattles are in the dash/console . my mazda 3 2020 has since cold weather outside an annoying glovebox rattle .
check the firsts 1.0 TSI, the 1.0 Ecoboost downsizing started some years ago :) no big issues related to the engine block, e.g. Ford had some issues with some cooling tubes, but nothing especially with the engine itself
@@NerkiumRider Mechanically no, but in performance and vibrations, the 3 cylinders are worse. Besides, these engines are very good for the city, but those who demand a little consume equal to or more than one of "big". I know because I have a 0.9 90 hp clio from 2017 and it gives me worse fuel consumption than a skoda 1.4 95 that I had before.
@@TheMolinator15 the Renault TCe is not very good compared with the VW TSI. I think VW has progressed more at the moment. About vibrations yes, they have a shock absorber. We will se the time span.
This one has the new mild-hybrid system which supposedly helps with that issue, because the electric motor smooths out the engine. You should probably check forums if users still have this issue.
Because this Poland and very easy get tickets not work camera , Polish Police make statistics up .... I drive at London 1 year , 1 have one ticket use wrong line. In Poland I will be scary to drive mate.
new models : 1.5 tsi and 1.0 get the torsion beam suspension. 2.0 tdi get the multi link from 150hp. The sporty model with the hybrid will get the multi link aswell
I currently have a MK2 but this new one look and drive even better. Done a test drive both Manual and DSG. For London I have decided to go with DSG 150HP eTSI FR Sport due to stop start traffic and long commutes. I cannot wait but have to 3 months for a factory build.
Ok here is the big question. Leon FR 1.5 TSI (no DSG crap) or Focus St-line X 1.5T auto 182hp? I choose auto for Focus because it is T/C and no DCT obviously. And also i dont wanna have any batteries under my family's seats or instead of spear tire....
