Rule of thumb in this new meta, is to make sure you always have more AP Total than their Total DR stat. for example if you want to blow up 700 dr you need to have 700+ pvp attack, and every AP more than their 700 dr will be felt exponentially
PEN Blackstar: 14 more sheet AP (30% effective, so 4.2 AP) and 18 all species damage. Therefore a total contribution of 22.2 PvP AP towards awakening skills. PEN C20 Seleth: 35 human damage. Therefore a total contribution of 35 PvP AP toward awakening skills. If we ignore the 30 accuracy loss, C1 green mainhand will provide 12.8 more PvP AP to awakening skills compared to a pen blackstar. (A C1 seleth will loose 42 accuracy, but still contributes 10.1 PvP more AP to awakening skills compared to a pen blackstar) Thanks for the tech vessel. o7
You forget about Nouver +12AP + more AP bracket and you still have the 30% Damage reduction You are not the only one who forget About The NOUVER king . And you have 10+%all resistance and 30% evasion special too with Fiery Nouver .
I'm plan to build 401 min DP and 358 AP With this build only over 750 DR don't die . Btw the buff is not on DR but are on class you as a Guardian got a Damage Reduction while frontal guard and while Super Armor for that you think DR was broken now but an Evasion Class who build DR don't got your same Defense result and be killed .
Well it depends on class but yeah. Valk got the bloc and SA buff but guardian just got SA. It did help us along tho it doesn't do much in AOS kekw :] thanks for input def some valid points!!!
@@vessel_vision i'm a Musa Awakening main and after this Patch DR really work bad on Musa due to lost of all DR Buff on all skill , we got a 5% evasion rate on the worst skill ever realise . I try the Accuracy Secondary vs the Evasion but in a war is like you lost alot defense for the secondary . Fiery BlackStar was one of the main choice , but after this upgrade on this worst skill ever made with a 6% Evasion for 10 sec the secondary with Evasion is pretty good if you want go va DR and be defensive as DR . Btw when i got the labreska and Ator maybe i can do the fiery Nouver V Secondary as a main offhand there are like +20 AP vs Fiery BlackStar V .
Some classes can go full damage and still kill people in the if they are a damage class to start with all thrh have to do is build for it. From my testing on succession warrior most classes can still hurt me if they once again build for damage. But if i build tank I cannot do damage. Now the problem is 40 dr dp buffs seem to be the problem succ nova still has her 50 dp for free and succ zerk gets 40 for doing nothing. Succesy warrior gets 40 also but its not for free and his noy as perma protected as the other two so thats fine. Bottom lines builds just matter wayyy more now but some classes need adjustments
Well i am 842 PvP AP Awakening Dark Knight. While i still do damage to some classes it feels bad that at almost hardcap ap im not able to do any damage against some classes, while they still do good damage against me. Even me and 2 more people where hitting a Valk and she did not take any damage. While you are right about the technical stuff, all that doesn't help if the numbers itself are just overtuned in favor of DR/tanky classes. Also im doing pvp very regulary so i dont think im just super bad at it. I just think assasin classes right now can not, even with full ap builds, compensate for the immense DR increase. It is like Renown back in the days, which got removed because it produced the same problem we have now again but even worse.
@@vessel_vision Yeah i also think they will adjust it more. I do not have a problem with making everybody a bit more tanky but yeah some classes need reworks now.
Awk dk assasin class? I tell u what assasin class.. They hold q entire game then sudently teleport n do desync grab.. Oh wait thats warrior 😂 N u really cant compare dk with other assasin class like ninja.. Why? Because dk got the worse class modifier after sai.. N top of it awk dk got alot damage reduced from 70-80% damage in her core skill.. Face it if they dont do this everyone going to play dk because shes beautiful
@markus to get your 840ap, do you add your Human Damage and Stat AP or do you truly just have nearly 340 sheet AP and that alone is over 800 stat AP + Church, Food, and Tent buff?
yeah its so silly (for now). choices are go dr, be tanky and still do dmg or go evasion, be tanky and do no damage. But I hope they make more itemization for eva to balance this
Thats a nice tech.. but man warrior and valks are unkillable.. I just saw 2 hardcap warior duel in BA.. probably still there fighting and neither one is getting killed lol.
They are prolly both building super tanky i imagine. RN tanks people can't kill each other if they build a ton of DR it's kinda like how Eva was tbh. a well balanced build should still do good damage. You technically have the same amount of crystals no matter what gear you are wearing. The garmoth heart does sorta "act" like a crystal because of the 10% special attack eva 150 hp, 100 stamina..... and as long as you have a garm in your awakening you would have 2 extra slots either way. But i agree with you as the green offhands being dead. But yeah your actual crystal amount doesnt change otherwise since crystal reworks
This is a very good question!! From what I understand it works as follows - after maybe 700ish or so raw AP(depends on how much DR enemy here) it will work 1 to 1 as true damage. If you don't have enough flat ap it still counts as .85 like u said etc etc. That's why those certain dr thresholds matter bc they directly correlate with everyone's average ap threshold.
@@vessel_vision i literaly went from 26k average to 32k average with succ ranger at yzrahid after the changes simply thanks to more skill accuracy im able to fully hit all the mobs without any accuracy crystals
@@vessel_vision I think by 'monsters' he means other players stacking DR. I tried 1v1 against 650+DR Nova as an 850 PvP AP Archer, and I wasn't able to go through block, meanwhile he was closing gap and either CCing me or forcing to disengage. Classes that do not have grab and relied on high damage are more or less dead for now.
I test that on awak DK and its dosnt help too much. The friend of mine has warrior with 750 damage resist in stats. With that Seleth weapon i make 900 attack (AAP + damage to humans) I dont miss (no message) but i unable to break fairy heal and do more than 40% of HP for full combo. The 2 problems. 1) The 17 damage difference between Seleth and Black Star dosnt help too much. 2) Class to class damage ratio of DK is bad. But probably it can work on different classes with high Class to class ratio
Ya I think some classes at certain thresholds si ply cannot kill others anymore. It might finally be time to take out those stupid class to class modifiers!!!
Vessel is forgetting this is for RBF tryhards , you have to be near hard capped to pull it off and overworld and uncapped is dead. so is it worth the investment till fallen god ccomes out in couple weeks... no
@@vessel_vision in 1v1 situations sure you are sacrificing a lot, but rarely you are in a 1v1 situation. I think an awakening class that can abuse both seleth and a DR offhand can put you in an advantage win condition in a 2v1 / 2v2 +
