going to be live tomorrow at 11am eastern time testing more of minecraft creaking update!! you can set a reminder here 🔔ru-vid.comDhWGEwB_WVY?si=ohohmHEWK7Bx3lDW
The bundle will be perfect for holding all my workstations when I'm exploring. I could keep a spare bed, crafting table, doors, oven and some wood in there easy to build an emergency sleeping hut.
@@Redmirax you can’t put the bed bundle into another bundle because it would add up to over 64. You could put a bed bundle into an empty bundle, but no further items after that.
I feel like all potions should just stack up to 16; not only would this make the inventory space with them more manageable, but it also wouldn't be op (like think about it, golden apples stack to 64 and a single golden apple is stronger than any regen potion). Most potions you use you just have to drink every 8 minutes and since shulker boxes and ender chests are a thing, them being unstackable doesn't actually make you unable to keep many of them on you, it just makes them really inconvenient in terms of inventory management. Honey bottles already stack to 16 so it's not like the game's code is preventing them from making this change, or at least I think. (Also hey Mojang could you also make all the stews stackable pretty please)
@@shellpoptheepicswordmaster755 I'd just add a throw cooldown like with ender pearls; while it would make sense from a game balance perspective to keep those unstackable, it would feel really weird seeing regular potions stack to 16 with splash potions being unstackable.
@@shellpoptheepicswordmaster755 they actually did this in the combat snapshots (that are now seemingly abandoned) a few years ago, exactly how you said it, and I totally agree with you. It would be very cool if they re-visited those features and made them experimental like the new minecarts, villager trades...
Bundle will be amazing for exploration. I love collecting saplings, flowers, and various plants from every biome to bring home and grow my own. This usually leads to weighing which items are most important to me. Bundle lets me collect a little bit of everything 🎉
@@maevwat I haven't seen the video, so honestly just judging by the title, but I imagine they will be stackable to 16 max, to avoid being to OP. For healing you need Ghast tears, right? It's possible to abuse the game mechanics for those but also it's still a pretty niche farm to put your time into making. So who knows!? 🤔
I wish bundles could handle 2 stacks so they are actually useful for converting something that takes 2 inventory slots into 1 so it's not JUST for various tiny pieces of stuff. It would be much more useful imo
yeah... I'm not sure about this change, I'd like it better if they either kept the recipe or made it 1 rabbit hide + 1 string, I love rabbits but they're not really useful, that's sad :/
One use of the bundle i really have liked so far (Playing with a few mods that have added it) is for mining As you find ores and your inventory fills up, you can keep compacting them into their block form and putting multiple ores all within a single bundle, it is insanely inventory efficient 1 stack of iron? Compact it into a few blocks and throw them into a bundle alongside a few blocks of diamond, gold and redstone you may have found, it really goes a long way
Bundle kits inside Shulker kits inside the Enderchest. Carry Silk Touch Efficiency V pickaxe and a couple Enderchests in the inventory for unhinged amounts of portable storage.
I like to collect different kinds of tree saplings in case I need a particular wood type. Since there are 10 different overworld trees that exist, I can easily create a bundle to store those saplings. Another thing, perhaps I am in search of different crops. Perhaps I didn't settle down in a spot and create a farm. I can use a bundle to keep those items together untill my farmland is ready.
I never understood the point of the bundle until they more clearly explained it at Minecraft Live 2024. Now I am super excited about it. The example they gave of mining and getting partial stacks of andesite, granite, and diorite. I am constantly throwing away those partial stacks because I don't build often enough with them and they take so much inventory space. I would love to hoard everything, but until bundle, hard decisions have to be made.
Now players can carry 1,07,141 unique items in their inventories. (64×27×27) (ender chest)+(64×27×35) (player inventory-1 spot for the ender chest) +5(4 armor slots+offhand). For java, add 63 to that because they can hold bundles in the offhand.
@@shadowhuntergaming5499 64 items in each bundle. 27 bundles in a Shulker. 27 shulker in an ender chest. = 64×27×27 Then 64 items in each bundle, 27 bundles in each Shulker, 35 Shulkers and 1 ender chest in a player's inventory. Then 4 armor slots and 1 off hand... Oh you mean you can hold a Shulker in the offhand? Yeah. Then add (26×64) to my earlier calculations.
@@georgezp7787 incorrect calculation, you forgot that bundles and shulker boxes are items too, even when they hold items. Thus each bundle stack is actually 65 items and shulker boxes add +1 after their contents. ((65 * 27) + 1 shulker box) * 37 + 4 armor pieces = 64 976 items in player's inventory. Then + 47 412 for the enderchest, which makes 112 388 items total.
I just wish they would finally update Shulkers, they're due a rework. I really like the potion kit idea, and to expand that onto Shulkerboxes would just make sense.
Honestly, the bundle is SUPER useful for me. I love going on adventures and taking TONS of different "rare" blocks/items (like bamboo or cactus, or any farmable item tied to a biome) and clogging up my inventory. I love it.
I wish I could store all of my “just in case equipment” inside of a bundle. Like a bunch of random tools that I typically keep in a shulker box: shears, flint & steel, a bed, hoe, shovel, axe, ender chest, recovery compass, regular compass, etc. It would be nice to simply pull these tools out of a bundle rather than having to place down my shulker box every time I need to quickly grab one of these tools.
On bedrock, a couple weeks ago, I discovered that if you put a bundle full of items I a shulker box, then take that box and put a ton of it down in creative, then go through and look through all the shulker boxes, then some bundles will appear as empty. Then you can put your “empty” bundle (with maybe a couple other “empty” bundles) in another bundle, then you can fit millions of items in one bundle. I don’t know if it works in survival
Another good use for bundles would be newbie packs for servers! You could give each new member some items such as a bed and some food all in one inventory slot without the need for a backpack mod.
FINALLY! Not being able to take specific items out of the bundle has been SO FREAKING FRUSTRATING. Glad they fixed that! Also glad they changed the recipe to leather instead of rabbit hides. Rabbit hides are too annoying to get for what's supposed to be an early-game item.
I hate the single items that fill the bundle like a tool or banner pattern. It makes the bundle completely pointless. Either allow multiple of those items (at least 2) or don't allow them to go in the bundle in the first place.
Being able to put single unstackables in bundles means you can have a full inventory of unstackables AND a full inventory of bundles without having to sacrifice any items.
The best use for bundles are maps since they are one slot they are the only one slot that can't stack but doesn't make a stack so you can hold up to 64 different maps in a single bundle
I think the best kit players should use is pickaxe kits. rather than having 8 stone picks in your pocket you can just have the stone and sticks in your kit so when one breaks you pull out the next one. Best early game kit for mining session. Cooking kit is probably a second best... though its kinda sad that campfires cant be removed without silk touch, but at least its stackable.
I think the bundle should let us stack 16 potions in it. Like a soft potions satchel. It would be a great compromise to letting it stack without any gear.
hmm, I feel like the bundle recipe should also accept the dye as well so that we can craft the dyed versions immediately. No dye would just craft the nodye option.
not sure about the recipe change, as it once again makes rabbit hide basically useless, but I'm excited to see them in the game! (well... almost, but soon)
The number just suddenly replacing the 12th slot after 13 different items is so weird, imo it’d have been better to just put the amount of items over the fullness bar. I also wish they’d let us scroll through everything and shift items in and out of view instead of limiting us to 11-12 items.
Another Everything episode? Do you save various bloopers, along with things that just had to be re-recorded? These make for fun filler, particularly nice for keeping the upload schedule when life happens.
Once I’m at the end game of my worlds I rock two pickaxes 1 with fortune and 1 with silk touch then I carry a bunch of ender chests and fill my ender chest up with a bunch of different shucker boxes for different stuff like ore food wood or redstone stuff it’s truly the best setup
Has anyone tried putting a bundle inside a bundle, or possibly have said bundle be filled with many items, then put the bundle inside another bundle, and have many other coloured variations of bundles with many other different items be put inside the same bundle, so we can carry so many bundles, whilst having so many free spaces left for other items. Or to go full on inception, put a bundle, inside a bundle, inside a bundle, inside a bundle and so on... you could play that preschool game pass the parcel where you give the inception bundle to other players in the group playing the game, then they'd open the bundle, once the music stops playing, then at the end, they'll be a prize for the person to open the final bundle.
can't belive they just now adding bundles. anyway real question is can i put bundles in bundles? or bundles in shulker boxes? or shulker boxess in bunldes? for ininite sotrage by alterning the two?
Havent messed with most of this yet.... but what happens to a bundle in a chest over a hopper? Does it take items out of the bundle or just grab the whole bundle?
I don't think they should let us put several tools in the same bundle, becuse your tools should be easy to equip, basically tools are to use not to store
I usually have 2 of every tool. The one I'm using and a backup. If the bundle could hold at least 2 tools, then that would help a lot with inventory management. Even just 2 tools per bundle would help condense things especially if working on large projects.
the bundle has been a slow burn for me. at first it just sat in my inventory but after exploring and using it more and more it slowly is becoming incredibly convenient to have
