I think for Oko at his best he might be better or as good as Kasmia, but as soon as you have bad luck or fall behind Greg then he gets much worse. I cant see him replacing Kasmia in must win scenarios.
It was very much a bold take. Kasmina can get removal with her second and cards and mana, which is insane. Oko’s first looks like it could be wild when spammed though and the second will make infinite Atraxa loops easier and multiple Ghalta’s pretty easy and terrifying as well. It could look like a bad take in a month or so, but maybe it winds up hitting right.
I did say it was a bold take. I’m not saying it will definitely be the case, but I could see a world in which it is. Kasmina will probably still reign supreme with her mana bonuses and flexibility from her second, but in standard Oko looks like it could be just as a good with some areas where it could be stronger. I can’t wait to try it.
@@Nalthazar in legacy oko has access to far more gem changers but after you use the 3rd ability it is pretty much a non issue you are using thier cards but so many play the same meta that you can pretty much guarantee what is in their deck after seeing a few of their stolen ones than adjust to beat them down after taking the good ones and discarding the crappy ones. honestly i worry more about meeting dakons. Greg is far from afraid of wiping your key creatures.
