New Sharon: Maine 2 Foot Narrow Gauge Model Railroad | The Railway Room 

Today on The Railway Room is a look at NEW SHARON; an On2 1:48 scale narrow gauge model railroad built by Bob Harper.
The layout is set on the Franklin, Somerset & Kennebec Railway which was intended to connect the Sandy River & Rangeley Lakes Railroad with the Wiscasset, Waterville & Farmington Railway. Large amounts of construction work took place on the railway, but sadly it was never completed - the model represents the line as if it had opened.

The layout was filmed at Narrow Gauge North 2024. Most locos are fitted with sound, but the background noise rendered the live audio difficult to use, so it has been edited with sound from my own library of narrow gauge videos.
