It’s not outlandish i would say, scholars do make mistakes in their fatwas, and so forth, but a mistake like This is unheard off. The video shows Omar doing these rituals with those degenerates. I personally hold the opinion that if you go to a place like that, where you know that they are going to cause fitna to the community then it should be haram to go there to begin with. Ik you people may say that he did it for the sake of dawah, he wanted to preach islam and so forth, but this is as i see it equivalent to someone going into a bar to stop people from drinking just to buy a drink himself.
