Watching your head dissappear under the fender made me want to read the comments first before I finished the video😂 where are your jackstands young man? Check your ground if you haven't on the rear light situation I had sketchy connections on mine and a little sanding and cleaning cured the problems. I had to laugh at the heat factor because I have so many fans going in my shop at work I cant hear a thing. There's no way I could shoot a video. Our humidity in Omaha in summer is THICK cant use a swamp cooler because it just makes everything more wet. Thanks for the vids R.C.T.

I think I need to do that to mine soon! For what it's worth, according to the 1981 Jeep shop manual, the top nut is set to 35 foot pounds during the service and when rechecked is fine between 25-40 lbs. The bottom nut is set to 45 lbs initially and rechecked between 35-50 lbs. I think the way you did it got it someplace in that range.

same on my 80. rides pretty harsh. haven't decided if im going to go replacement stock or 2.5" lift parts. i also need to do some measurements for shocks on the 83 with full width soa.
