Aired on CH4 in 2007, this documentary, was part of the New Shoots series for first time directors and documents Walthamstow Greyhound Dog Track as it began its final months of operation.
Gorgeous dogs! We are currently the human servants of Evie (Barrow Blade) aged 3 and a half who was bred in Ireland as a coursing dog, then ran at Poole before we got her ten months ago from RGT Cornwall. She is our third ex racer and we adore her! Greyhounds make the best pets!! ❤️❤️
He unfortunately passed away a couple of years ago he did see 100 his son Michael is at Romford now , mr Tyler was an amazing character. RIP MY FRIEND ❤
very hard to watch to see Walthamstow Wembley White city Wimbledon all gone grew up going to all these tracks with my dad and later owned many dogs fantastic memories loved every minute
i know im asking randomly but does any of you know a tool to log back into an Instagram account? I somehow forgot my account password. I would love any tricks you can offer me
If it wasn't for the pet owners there would be no homes for ex racing Greyhounds! 😠😠😠 We have had Greyhounds, Lurchers and Whippets as pets for over 26 years and absolutely love sighthounds. They may be fantastic on the tracks, but they also make wonderful pets! ❤️
Go greyhounds they are the greatest luv from australia they are like our kids this sort of stuff is great for the industry an this is really how it is good on ya many more years doing what we luv
the uk government has done nothing to support greyhound racing which is a true working class sport as the average man can be an owner. you can keep the prem league and royal ascot
RIP The Stow. A travesty such an iconic and historical stadium has been lost to housing. It breaks my heart driving past it now. I'm sure London will just be developments of flats sooner rather than later.
What I don't get is ordinarily betting on dogs is stupid ,no matter if your a brain scientist or clued up or both ,from what I've seen you can't win 😂 unless it's walthemstowe ,from another planet 🤖
up at the Crooked Billet Roundabout in walthamstow. the whole business is bent to this day. i saw a mug put 1000 on an even money dog today. that dog was last. the winner was 14 to 1
Ha it's actually the least corrupt able as it's got the least human involvement. I've seen lads thinking they were stopping the dog by running it in the fields all day and giving a big feed... The dog still pissed in 4/1 owner had not a penny on it... And his dog got upgraded, so he would need to wait another 3-5weeks before he could have a proper gamble... If a dog wants to win, or try, it will. Where as footballers get yellows and reds deliberately, jockeys pull back horse, cricketers throw dot balls, snooker player miss an easy red....
@@deckyBWFC91 That's all i remember hearing at the dogs or the kennels on a sunday morning when growing up was my dad talking about giving it a feed or a kill.
@@deckyBWFC91So how do that Pro Gambler say he knows more than the Bookies about the dogs running??How can he possibly know which is always going too win??
