It looks to me like a nice rapid response, active shooter type of quick into action firearm for security, VIP protection or the like. I would not mind having this gun in my rapid response bag.
@@juelzkellz no, it is NOT. The p320 raider IS NOT compatible with the 45 or X10 pistols. I know it won’t, because i OWN one. If they had a 45/10mm version, I would’ve bought THAT instead
They just did the first drop and you can put a deposit down if you wanna get in on the next batch. And if you get impatient, the deposit is fully refundable.
It's in the works, last I heard. But they just released the P365 Raider and they got a plan for a new type of Glock chassis that's different then the old one they used to make so give them time. The Flux boys are workin on it.
This form factor has a lot of potential. Imagine this in select fire chambered in 7.5 FK. Could become standard issue for pilots, tankers, all support troops. Replacing both an M4 and sidearm for all those personnel who have low probability of direct infantry style engagements.
@@echofoxtrotwhiskey1595 Imagine if there were Internet forums back when everyone carried revolvers. I wonder what people would’ve said about automatics?
@@lordhuck2689 There weren’t forums, but there were real life gatherings. Information moved slower which is why fudd lore sticks around as long as it does.
With a white light attached that would be a formidable nightstand package…safety is a great idea being that the trigger isn’t covered by a holster. Price is really not bad.
I emailed Sig to see if they were going to sell just the chassis and magazines as a kit, like flux does (since I already have the Legion X5). They said not likely. Seems like a missed opportunity to sell a Legion branded flux chassis to existing pistol owners. 🤷♂️
It's cool, but i don't understand the "why" versus something like an mp5 or vityaz in the pdw world? You've still only got a 5 inch barrel. What am i missing?
We dont and it´s highly unlikely that they do. There are too many actual smg and pdw alternatives to choose from to have sf use that toy. SMGs and pdws have fixed barrels giving much better accuracy.
@@BenfromFlux You guys should do a video about some of those reports and what led to the changes you made in the Raider X. Anything that you're allowed to talk about. Would be cool to hear what those guys think about the platform.
AMAZING VID🤘 I'm still loving my normal sidearm and having a FN P90 as a backup in my backpack.... Of course with my government ammunition, too give it more punch🤘🫡🏴☠️🤘
sorry I meant the Baretta 92R as in full auto Pistola! 1 man made that pistol, and he still makes that pistol at the Baretta factory to this day, (by hand) so take that SIG!
I would imagine about as much as any other M17. The chassis is solid. I have one and let my toddler play with it. It's been knocked around pretty substantially. I'm more worried about the optic than the chassis.
@@nickmurdaugh9856 Right, ok. This brings me back to the original comment. I was a Sgt in the Army with an arms room. Until someone with experience can speak on this, I agree with the original comment. Army privates will f@#k this thing up.
This fills the same kind of role any stabilized pistol does, and anyone who screams because it doesn't make it into a rifle lacks the wits to see past their own ego. This moves the P320 into the same niche as a stocked C96, vz63 or the PM63. Or the MP5K with the sidefolding stock, only that is much bulkier. As a PDW for vehicle and aviation crew, or as siderams for motorcycle cops, canine handlers, and desk pilots who need to be armed. The one they are making for the p365 might be a bit more practical for those who need concealable.
Nope. As far as i can see the barrel on this "system" still moves up and down with every shot just like a regular pistol. That is why these types of systems vill never replace real smgs/pdws, , there are just better alternatives out there.
Every one complains about the Mac 10/11’s stock not being stable, this is the same 2 bar stock. Also it would need a longer threaded barrel to be suppressor compatible, which would look funny without a longer slide. There are other PCCs out there that designed to be compact and are suppressor ready. For the military I can see why they would be interested. All you need to do is install a 320 FCU, they’re into modularity, but for a civilian I would rather have a pistol and a PCC, so that I didn’t have to keep switching over the FCU to use one or the other.
That's a complex issue- there are 7variants and they can be substantially different from a use and set up perspective. The original copperhead lower has been discontinued ,but you never could really get the stock for them. The 4.5" guns are a ton better because of the added rail space and muzzle device. The new lower is back to MPX standard config, which makes the gun a little shorter on the back end when using MPX parts on the rear pic rail, so it breaks even on the 4.5". Ideally we would have had a decent brace and stock option for the old receiver, but that never happened because the 3.5" was so damn ugly.😂
Sig covered all the bases here, they stamped "NOT A VFG" on the vertical foregrip/spare magazine holder, that everyone that ever picked the thing up grips, and they stamped "NOT A SBR STOCK" on the rear strapless, inflexible, dongle that looks suspiciously like a stock, that everyone that ever picked the thing up shoulders like a stock. Oh wait?? They didn't stamp that on the "brace"?
@@Meta1spy51 If you are nine years old or have a short memory it might seem like strapless pistol braces have been around forever and some strapless brace designs do have ATF/BFT (BUREAU of Firearms Technology) approval letters but, the ones that do are not inflexible, they flex, and have a place to add a strap. You have focused on one (1) of the two aspects of this brace design that I feel may be it's downfall, again, the two (2) things this design lacks, it does not flex, it is inflexible, and it does not have and is not even designed to add a strap. Another thing to consider is most of these things are aftermarket, add-on parts, this is being sold as a firearm. Now it can be argued that the only serialized part (the actual firearm) is the FCU, the fire control unit, the trigger pack... that's all well and good if it's a pistol, the problem is, like the ATF did with the Honey Badger, with the stroke of a pen, determine that what you've purchased is not a pistol, it's a SBR, a short barreled rifle, the key word being rifle, you would then be in possession of an unregistered SBR, remove the FCU unit from the Flex grip module, it's still a SBR, put that FCU into a regular 320 pistol grip module, it's still an unregistered SBR, so sure, maybe nothing will happen, the ATF has played fair on these rulings in the past... not.
I still don't get a chassis for 9mm platform other than range toy. I train with 9mm as is no chassis needed......train with what you shoot and carry what you train with.
“Everybody will be using P320 mags” no they will not every double stack mag sig makes is $50 a pop. Again that’s every double stack mag sig makes from the P220 series, P365’s, and P320’s. From what I see companies are using M&P mags more and more. I do own and carry sigs though so all my hate is the current mag price.
@redbear78 there are pdws that are about this length. I would rather carry a slightly bigger bag snd have a normal pdw. I also don't ever only carry a laptop.
I just can't see shooting a handgun right in front of my nose as being more comfortable and manageable than a regular pcc that has more girth and weight to tame recoil....
Well, the 320 was designed to be modular. And though I see your point, the design speaks to the modularity of the weapon system since you can easily remove the slide and reinstall it onto a standard grip module and install a dot sight if needed.
@@pjkf01 most people put a comp on the end of one of these, which is why the dust cover is extended a tad bit past the slide. I have one online and it looks great.
@kennyphelps1160 there's litterally a comp. On the one In this video and it still, as stated, extends past it. This seems really stupid considering if you get a comp. Then vents downward partially into the frame....
No in no way. I can only speak from the Flux Raiders I have for my Glocks. They make them in a number of ways to fit a persons needs and wants. I have 3 and love them and all 3 are set up different. Then again the ones I have are not full frame Raiders they use the stock Glock frames and come in around $100.00 dollars when I got mine some years back. They offered a number of accessories to set up as needed.
@@redbear78 well anything u put on ur shoulder is gonna shoot more accurate. Just dont see the advantage if this over a pcc or a pistol. Just not for me. Waste of $ imo
The advantage is how small it is and easy to conceal so let’s say you want a pdw but you have to dress business this fits under a sport coat easily and gives you more accuracy and faster reloads than a pistol
And then there ist a button to release all mag's together on this crap nerd gun...and this spec ops tac FCK button makes a farting sound that tell you that your Tier Level is 'mongoloid'.😂
@RandoBox Sig bribed their way out of the proper military testing for the current military issued sidearm, and now one of the former generals involved in the deal has an executive position at Sig.
Sig p320, imagine a company literally just taking a 250 and removing the hammer and saying look at our “innovative” “new” gun, but the engineers screw it up so bad that they have to do multiple recalls and some still wonder if the pistol is still safe 😂😂😂 insane, sig made great hammer fired guns, they should have stuck with those
I wonder if Sig will be helping them out on the manufacturing side. Flux has had a hell of time producing these at scale. As far as I know they've never actually had stock that you could just order anytime. It's all been drops that sold out instantly.
Occasionally they have been in stock for up to a week, but yeah, very rarely in stock. Sig has been helping us through advising, they are treating us like their little brother. I think we have sold roughly 1200 raiders over the last month or so.
It would be cool if you could go back and forth between 9mm and 10mm with a barrel swap and a mag change but I don’t know if that’s possible. The p320 platform is modular though so idk
@@jaretmoskal5558 due to the length of the cartridge, the magwell would have to be changed on the raider to accomadate. That would mean some small design changes but would need more tooling and testing from the Flux team.
