I don't particularly watch Benzo other then the occasional goofy video like jed's 80s pack, as i'm more familiar with FirstThirtyMinute's style since thats what i used to watch back in the day, however I do pop in from time to time just to listen to your voice as I find it very soothing. First time I caught a video so early tho since i'm from Europe. You should most definitely focus your channel to whatever you wish to do. Much love!

I found the solutions if the text is not showing next to the map, change the scale of the letters or move the it up and down and then it will be shown and then you can scale it right

Hey benzo great video and everything works. One question tho, because I play on a ultra wide monitor ( 3440x1440) My mini map isn't in the correct spot and I cant move the bottom part that says county. Any way to move the county, because It only says enable.

hello benzo, thank you for the guide, just had a question if i were to switch to scripthookdotnet nightly from the community version, are my previous mods unusable, or its just work from the get go?

Should be good to go, they both do the same thing. I know the "nightly" version is considered "unstable" which is weird in my opinion. Most people that use scripts along with LSPDFR had a ton of issues with the community version of SHVDN. That was one of the main reasons the nightly version was released, to help keep RageHook from crashing. But no idea why the nightly version is consider to be unstable. Probably because it is not from the original author? who knows. To make things even more complicated, some people are saying that the community version (crosfire) works better with SimpleHud. Can't win for losing lol

Hiya! Just a quick correction - nightly is not a person but rather a term referring to an unstable version of software. The community version is stable, but is also older.

After I installed this my antivirus scanned some filed while I was loading up RageHook. When I load Rage it says validating hook and then my antivirus pops up and says it scanned some files and then rage closes. I'm just confused. Help?

@JimmyNeutron-nw9xj I figured it out. Read the README in the scirpthookvdotnet file. There's some extras you need to download that's not explained in any videos I've seen. I needed to download visual C++.

To be honest, never did it before. I have not updated my GTA or LSPDFR in several months. I don't have a reason to. But I know they have info on the lspdfr site somewhere about it.

For people who have trouble getting this to work like I did after watching this video ! I looked at another video. Don’t now why it didn’t worked after this video tho… Very important is that you need the script hook nightly version !!! Then it works. Even the F9 key works for me now. Yes it is a strange bug because for them to appear you have to play with the settings many times changing the place, scale all that and try to copy the place of the video and when it appears you put it as you want@@hidoshhasanov1235

Hey mate why I'm only can get the postal map, but the vehicle ui, road name etc is not spawn edit: I'm currenty use PLD over this one, already did many tutor from other youtuber still the text menu is not spawn only the maps changed.

Might be easier to post in Venoxities (spelling?) discord, easier to get a response that way as there maybe some updated method of installing this, meaning a different scripthookvdotnet or something else. You are not the first person I have heard say this. NOTE: I am using an older version of SimpleHud, mine is from like 6 or more months ago

Simple HUD text is a bunch of gibberish characters, not text. How can I fix this? Version 1.1.9 Simple HUD. I noticed the Simple Hud.ini file is different than in your tutorial. Thanks as always Mike.

Not sure if this would help or not, but you can try installing the OIV file again, I think there might be two of them. Sometimes the font does not overwrite the last font and some have to do it twice for some reason.

@@BlueLineVibes Yea I tried that already. So I finally gave up and I am doing a clean install of everything. That's modding for you. Also kept getting LSPDFR crashing in Poleto Bay when I first launched LSPDFR. So clean install of LSPDFR and only installed everything required for Simple Hud and the text is still garbled unreadable. The map itself works and zoom works but the info for where I should be is gibberish. I think it's a font thing. Joined Venoxity's discord and put in a help ticket.

Drag the oiv to your desktop first, click inside OpenIV and now drag it from desktop to OpenIV

Interesting. Well SimpleHud has zero impact on your police lights. Does not conflict with a vehicle model, nor does it conflict with XML type files. I would post on his discord as mentioned on this video;
