Happy Thursday! Today I'm back with another new foundation review! I was really curious about this foundation since it retails for $95, a lower price point for Sisley. So far it has been the most forgiving in my fine lines and looks beautiful throughout the day. I plan to do a few wear tests and comparison videos using the recent foundation launches so be sure to let me know if there is something specific you would like to see!

My favorite foundation ever! The cover is medium but gives a very comfortable wear like wearing a tinted foundation. It doesn’t make me feel greasy, only dewy. Makes my skin looks healthy and natural. So so good! Highly recommend!

I would like to see you do a wear test along with your reviews of foundations, just so we can see how something wears. Especially, living in Florida it’s difficult to wear foundations, I personally love a matte to MAYBE, a satin finish, if I’m feeling daring, so I think your preference is interesting and I would like to see how foundations wear on you. love your videos.

Nicole, This foundation looks beautiful on you. I expect Sisley foundation's to be beautiful. The Sisleya Le Teint foundation (especially since I have more 'mature' skin) is my holy grail foundation along with the La Mer Soft Fluid foundation. My Sisley collection is growing, and more rapidly now that I've discovered that Harrod's prices are much lower than the prices in the US (thanks to Michele Wang!). I don't use foundation every day - I like tinted moisturizers on the daily. But, when I run out of the foundations I have on hand, I will try this one. The one problem with Sisley is their color range - it is very difficult to find a perfect match, even if your light skinned (forget it if you are a POC-the only thing I can attribute this to, is that it is a European brand-and that's really not a good excuse in 2019). I know people use the Double-Tenseur as a primer for foundation, but to be honest, I do not think this was the original intention of this product (I know I mentioned this on someone's page before). Years ago when I was at a Sisley counter the SA explained this is a product that specializes in firming the skin (tenseur literally translates to tensor in English 'a muscle that tightens a part of the body'), it seems that somewhere along the line it started to be used as a primer and it 'stuck', I really think it is supposed to be a part of your daily skincare. It kind of makes sense if you read about the product - and you did say that this foundation does not specifically state to use the double tenseur as a primer. Okay, so that was long-winded, but I just wanted to mention it to you to see what your thoughts are on this product (maybe your SA at Nordstrom can clarify - I am curious, one day I will get out to a store that carries Sisley). Either way, I love Sisley, it is my favorite all-around brand. I use products from other brands too, there are so many beautiful products out there! Thank you Ginny! I need to check out that skincare product, they also have a radiance primer that is truly meant to worn beneath foundation and it’s so stunning! And pricey lol so I haven’t purchased yet :) I need to check out the Harrods website! We went a few years ago to the actual store and it was a dream come true! 💕💕💕

Thanks for the review Erin! I ordered this from Saks in the same shade and it looks completely different compared to yours. Also the top is cracked. For some reason I've had issues ordering makeup from Saks ( my last order arrived completely broken). I hope they don't give me a hard time about returning this.

I loved the older version of this (now discontinued) but the lighter shades were too yellow; I've been told they've made the shades more neutral...yea!! I ordered the Guerlain foundation from Bloomindales in all 3 OO shades but they're backordered until 9/12; I really want to see how it compares to this one both in finish and shade but more importantly, how my dry skin feels. So far, all the new foundations have been oil free/matte and NOT dry skin friendly. Many of the newer foundations over the past few years have been water-based/oil free so it's been difficult finding one that works. Sadly, most of the "richer" foundaitons (Cle de Peau, for example) were TOO rich. So, the search continues, lol. Your application gave you a beautiful look. : )

Maybe this one would work better on me than the new Guerlain? I'm heartsick that the Guerlain shows my pores and fine lines and I can not return it. But this one may be the answer for my mature skin. Like I said before, I have never had any issues with pores, but the Guerlain made them show up. This Sisley looks promising!💜

Beautiful foundation😍 My favorite foundation lately has been the Chanel Lee Beiges water fresh tint, it's so natural and light but still makes your skin look fantastic. How would you compare the two?

I love the water-fresh tint! That Chanel is much lighter in terms of coverage, the Sisley is more of a traditional medium coverage foundation. It's still very pretty but much heavier :) xx

I think it looks beautiful! You are right it is natural looking. I was excited about the Charlotte Tilbury one but I like this one more. Can you review the new shiseido foun dation, powder and concealer? My favourite fohndation is the radiant lift by shiseido. Off course it is discontinued...It is similar I think to the sisley you just demo. It is oil free but radiant and last well in humid weather. I need to find replacement...

No, you want to stop using the retinol for a few days before you do the peel and wait a few days to begin using it again. It would be too harsh to use both :) xx

Thanks for your review! After seeing your review, I bought this foundation as well, love it!! But I found that the production date is Dec2018, which means it already past 8 months. And then I took a look at my other newly bought Sisley product, shocking to find that none of them was manufactured in 2019, all in 2018. Is it a common thing for cosmetics?? Want to here your opinion. Thanks!!

Does yours have a clear or black cap? If yes, then it’s the Phyto-Teint Eclat. The original one. This new one is called Phyto-Teint Ultra Eclat. Pretty much the same formula to me though.

Guerlain :) The Sisley is beautiful but the Guerlain has a better shade range and overall I love the appearance more than any others I've recently reviewed :) xx

Thank you! In the summer I have oily skin, winter is more normal/oily. I usually set with powder anyway. I just love the look of a sheer/natural foundation so this one definitely peaked my Interest.

It looks so so pretty but don’t you feel like you covered almost your whole face with concealer? And you don’t even need it.

lol maybe a slight exaggeration but this did make me laugh. I use my concealer to highlight the center points as well and since this foundation shade is a bit too dark I wanted to be sure to highlight. I've since sunless tanned so I'm excited to wear the foundation without as much concealer :) xx
