Somewhere between Skate 3 and "Skate." there was a horrific, digital white genocide in the skateboard industry. I'd say it deserves an investigation at a minimum, and quite possibly a documentary to honor and remember the rich history of our white skate brothers. But seriously, if you don't have a favorite obese black female skater, do you even really skate?

I've had the chance to play the beta, and I unfortunately think it still has a ways to go. Controls and movement feel stiff, like they're trying to bridge a gap between realism and arcade, but kind of missing the mark. If they can make everything 5 times as fluid and snappy, I'll be stoked. It has a lot of cool new little features that make it a true successor to skate 3. But it needs to FEEL better.

Agree. Gameplay in the trailers looks like this as well. But I‘m hoping they will get things right for the release. They‘re still in pre-alpha. So quite a long way to go until it’s done.

i did two of the playtests like 6 or so months apart and noticed a pretty big improvement so i think it’s definitely possible.

I loved skate 1 and 2, 3 was a travesty. It broke its own physics engine and I wasn't having any of it. I became unbeatable on hall of meat. God I hope that comes back...
