@@mantys6617 I think any car worth over 30k with 245bhp is overpriced in my opinion. When you can get a 2nd hand S3 or Golf R for 24k with 310bhp! For me there’s a no brainier... but it’s still a nice looking car and I reckon it will not hold it’s value for long.
Love the car...hate the artificial sound. You have to be 25 years old or less to think that's cool. It's ridiculous. Agree there are too many touch controls. Give us some real buttons you can use without taking your eyes off the road.

Great video. I think I would opt for having the power sound effects coming from inside the car via the speaker rather than outside of the car, just my personal preference. Do heated seats come with this model or is it an extra? The city drive looks very picturesque and the steering appears to grip the road. A good safe car.
Thanks :) Heated seats are indeed an extra as well as alcantara and electric seats, but shape of seats (sport ones) is standard as well as Matrix LED’s, 10inch screen, digital cockpit etc Speaker from inside is Skoda’s official and outisde afternarket, I love the inside one but could be less loud this is maybe too much
@@crospotter13 You never know the next generation of this car may have a slightly less noisy sound? It's optional which is good, at least you can turn it off, it's not in your ears all the time🤪

thanks :) Name of the sound system is Panthera, you can google it and try to find the local shops that install it. This was installed in tuning aftermarket shop. Not sure about the cost as it's a test car, but I think it was not cheap, over 1500 EUR if I got it correct

You must have some good connections driving this nice RS so early :-) Just subscribed :-) I have an Octavia (Combi) 2020 1,5 tsi dsg on a lease. Off course I like it a LOT, but I'm allready thinking ahead regarding to a next potential Skoda. Have you tried the Octavia 2021 1,5 tsi dsg? If yes - what is your impression compared to the Octavia 2021 RS? As a middleaged family-guy I'm looking for some good reasons for a RS ahead of convincing my even more middleaged (and reasonable/boring) girlfriend for a RS ;-) Maybe the adjustable chassis is a proper safety feature? Hello and thanks for the comment and for subscribing to the channel 😀 I drove the 1.5 eTSI (only eTSI is available with DSG) in other models from VW group (new Seat Leon for example) and it’s a very good engine.Personally I think that for an average buyer it’s really enough, but I do think that DSG suits this 2.0 TSI on RS much better (more natural response/gear changes I would say). But again, eTSI with DSG will be a reasonable choice, and I suggest you go for the DCC (dynamic chassis control that has been improved in this new generation, you have a lot of modes to choose from for the dampers) Of course if there’s an option for the RS it will be much more fun to drive 😎🏁 but less reasonable 😁
Fortunately the fake sound is an option! I also prefer a wolf looking like a sheed instead of the opposite. The RS is not a muscle car, but still pretty potent though!
@@crospotter13 I didn't even know it was optional when I ordered mine! To be fair it's not so big of a problem since I use a wax product which makes water slip away.
tough one, didn't drive the Formentor yet but I think Formentor is cooler and this is more reasonable choice (bigger trunk, more practical, same engine)
Depends on if you want crossover or not. Formentor is definitely more safe/family car but Octavia VRS is more of an iconic well manufactured car following its 3 well made precedessors.

@@crospotter13 Uskracivanje Skode da bi se Golf predstavio kao bolji automobil, a ustavri je sve obrnuto. Skoda lepsa, prostranija i bolji materijali. Danas sam procitao da Golf R krece sa prodajom po ceni od 43.690 eura, dok je Mercedes AMG A35 43.188 eura, a S3 42.800 eur. Mnogo su digli nos u VW.
