Ich weiß nicht ob man es luxuriöser nennen kann als im Golf 8 GTI, der hat im Detail schon ne gute Qualität. Gegenüber dem CUPRA Formentor aber zum Beispiel ist die Innenraumanmutung ansprechender.
Ein guter Wagen wirklich was mich stört ist die Mittelkonsole ohne ein automatik hebel da ist jetzt nur so ein '' bescheidener '' Schalter 🤭 das digital combi Instrument hmm ja gut Kann man mit leben aber was meiner Meinung nach so gar nicht geht ist das der ((RS)) mal so überhaupt keine Emotionen beim Fahren aufbringt man ist flott unterwegs okay aber wo ist das RS feeling? Man hat nicht das Gefühl das man hier grade etwas besonderes fährt mfg. GT MASTER

Do you really need a lound exhaust on a 4 banger if you are being honest?? It doesn't get much better with a loud exhaust, I wouldn't even dare touching the exhaust at such a "classy" car.
@@jerezM392 heaps of "4 bangers" with loud exhaust stock that sound great, Audi S3/Volkswagen GTI come to mind that are both 2 liters as well, at the end of the day if you enjoy a quiet ride then it's your choice. I like having a bit more presence and volume without being ridiculous.
Die Front gefällt mir sehr gut, die alten geteilten Scheinwerfer gingen gar nicht. Richtig aggressiv, vom Design her ein super Wagen. Bin auf den Kombi gespannt, gibts ja auch, oder?
I think this just edges the best looking of the VAG models, A3 second. Value, quality and performance, this takes top spot. All depends what you want I guess.
Der Skoda Octavia RS in seiner aktuellen Form ist nen super komfortabler Allrounder, viel Platz, gute Performance und insgesamt Preis- / Leistungstechnisch ein super super Auto, gut verarbeitet, alles dabei. Wer aber ein noch sportlicheres Auto sucht mit auch gutem Sound etc. für den ist der Skoda Octavia RS nichts. Ich glaube die Leute sehen das Auto auch falsch. Ein Octavia RS versucht auch nicht das zu sein. Im Grunde ist es ein sportlicher Familienkombi der leise ist. Es ist eben ein Kompromiss aus Allem und das kann Skoda einfach verdammt gut. Diese Gründe sind tatsächlich jedoch bei mir der entscheidende Punkt warum ich meinen Facelift 2017er RS kommendes Jahr verkaufen werde. Möchte auch eher in die sportlichere, kompaktere Ecke mit etwas mehr Sound gehen. Aber alles in allem kann ich dennoch über den Octavia RS ansich nichts negatives sagen, absolut tolles Auto und mit Leistungssteigerung (von PP Performance) bei meinem auch echt schnell und spaßig. Und der neue hier sieht ja vom Innenraum her wieder echt echt super aus, definitiv noch mal ne gute Schippe drauf gelegt gegenüber dem Vorgänger, echt gute Arbeit. Ich denke auch hier werden die Octavia's wieder Ihre Abnehmer finden, das Auto enttäuscht halt einfach nicht (vorausgesetzt man geht halt auch mit der richtigen Erwartungshaltung an dieses Auto)
this car is like 50ish k NZD brand new if you got this second hand maybe 2-3 years old you pretty much get a new car for late 20s/early 30k what a steal and probably a quick tune for a few hundred will bump it upto 300hp atleast what a steal
What a beauty...Im so sad that the new Skoda sound is very quiet...All new cars after 2020 have dampened exhaust sound due to new regulations and aren’t loud.
Musste mich zwischen dem neuen octi RS oder Superb Sportline entscheiden... Am Ende ist es der Sportline geworden mit 4x4 und 272 PS. Bereue die Entscheidung nicht:)
@@SerbanTV New noise regulations etc. you know... But even 245 facelift is without the farts already due to the newer more efficient and faster turbo. The old one was not that fast and the "left over" air was causing the farts (of course not in the launch control mode, the gears there are already pre-selected.) But it is very nice icing on the cake those farts..
I wonder if it has factory hp gift which was standard in VAG for years. Octavia 220 hp had 240 hp on dyno and 245 had 260 hp, wonder if this still has 260 or has real 245 due to emissions...
I have three RS 230 too, test drove this and it’s so much better. The exhaust isn’t as good outside but I think that’s normal now. The acceleration and quality are so much better though

This Octavia RS certainly doesn’t lack quality, nor refinement, BUT I am very disappointed by the fact that it is not AWD. Plus, the exhaust is almost completely muted, so not “RS” at all! Let’s add that they could have easily pushed the torque output to 400 NM, instead of 370. But let’s face it, without all these flaws and disappointments, this Octavia would have been too much Audi(sh)! Thus, in a way, I feel like they are intentionally deliberated and applied. By the way, I dislike the long reflective red stripe on the rear too.

Zeit definitiv in Ordnung für Serie. 270 wird er denke ich nicht haben. Ich fahre aktuell den 2017er Facelift RS mit Leistungssteigerung von PP Performance auf ca. 270 PS & 410 nm und fahre alleine 12,9 sek 100-200. (und das mit nem Handschalter)

In agreement re interior, out of the 4 new VAG models I would say the best interior is the Octavia, the best exterior is the A3, the best all-rounder is the Golf, the best value is again the Octavia....... I am on my 4th SeatLeon so I do like them but it's the poor relation in this group. Danke from Schottland :).......I see a lot of manufacturers are dropping their mid-power engines - ford 1.5 180 bhp, Honda 1.5 180 bhp, VW in C segment 2.0 tsi 190, I find this power to be the sweet spot.... what is your preferred engine 150 -200 bhp ?? cheers LB
"the best all-rounder is the Golf" - the best all rounder is the non-RS AWD Octavia Combi/Scout with 200HP diesel or top petrol(190HP). Ordinary Golf is not even getting those two engines (the GTD is going to have the same diesel however).
@@loyalbear3954 yeah, the UK is often not getting some engines. I thought it has something to do with the steering being on the other side, but then, the UK is getting the RS, and that is exactly the same. So the real reason must be something else.

Allrad bekommt der niemals dann wäre er ja "besser/schneller" als der golf gti und das will vw nicht. Aber ja der octavia rs mit allrad und vielleicht dem tcr oder r motor wär doch wirklich was verdammt geiles
Dieses Ladedruck-Update verleiht den 245PS 2.0 TSI Motoren ungeahnte Performance 😳 Bislang haben die neuen Modelle ausnahmslos ihre Vorgänger deutlich unterboten (100-200).... und das bei gleicher Leistung auf dem Papier.
Hey, mein Octavia RS TSI dreht im Sportmodus bis 4000-5000 Umdrehungen ohne zu schalten (Automatik) ist das normal oder mache ich etwas falsch? Ich drück meistens das Gaspedal nicht ganz runter ist das ein Fehler?
i have superb 272 sportline plus which is a better peformance car as its 4 wheel drive and hits 60 in 5.3 its a great sleeper car and like wiping smile of bmw owners with a skoda , have owned 3 vrs from the mk1 1.8 which the police use to use , that was a gtat car , if the new octavia had golf r tuned engine and 4 wheel drive would buy tomorrow .... last car was bmw 630d grand turismo which was about 265 bhp and skoda would eat it alive .... one more thing those driving gloves should make it go 10 mph faster , lol
Yeah, I had that same thought as well initially, but as this car is a fast & comfortable family car this “muted” sound makes absolute sense. Want more sound and you care less about interior quantity that you can get the new CUPRA Leon. Want both and more power than you can get the Golf 8 R;)

Nein, beim Plugin sitzt über der Hinterachse die Batterie. Bei Mercedes sieht man das Problem mit Heckantrieb und Plugin ...bei E und C Klasse ist ein Höcker im Kofferraum...nicht wirklich nutzbar danach
The problems Skoda is going to have specially the Octavia vRS they are now too up market I don't think many people will buy them they are no longer the family taxi the cheap and cheerful Skoda that we used to know has gone on this is now an upmarket golf
