after watching interiors , i can say that this isn't the slavia for india , because skoda has been giving 2 spoke steerings in its newly launched cars.
Drive Mazda 6 to really feel what a car is all about. Unfortunately people in India haven't heard Mazda. 2.5 L Turbo engine with close to 250 HP super smooth and awesome ride and handling
I think for a super smooth drive, we prefer European cars rather than Japanese cheap Mazdas...I believe they(Mazda) know this market better..therefore not coming to India...
@@jas4130 dude you are totally wrong...People prefer relablity also in thier super smooth rides...I guess you would have to see how JDM engines and cars are performing...they arent tapping into our market since it is not their standard to setup a factory in a new country ...they still prefer to export by CBU but 100% to 180% export duty really discourages them from entering our market.
Nope, the Slavia won't look like this from the front. The test cars carried the face of the newly launched Fabia in Europe. It will look very similar to the new Skoda Fabia.
For India? Looks like a modernized Rapid, which was very, very popular. Keep it in Europe, sell it for the pirce of a Rapid ( 12 to 14 000 Euros ), give it 1,5TSI and people are going to rip your hands off.
Skoda needs to Bring Naturally Aspirated engine back in India as it will help the Company itself People still prefer a diesel or naturally aspirated petrol engines than a turbo charger 3 cylinder engines which makes lot of vibrations amd harshness in the cabin I wish skoda offers naturally aspirated petrol engines in future
@@vasudevanvenkataraman5587 I owned a cross polo for 6 years (90000kms), no issues, fun to drive car but my state (CG) still has to date 1 dealership, which is horrible.
The slavia will get the 1L TC and 1.5 DSG with DQ200 where as Octavia and Superb have the 2L DSG with DQ250 so they are different engine/gearbox combinations. The suspension tune in the slavia and octavia is more or less similar where as the superb is much softer so there are differences there too
With all this look and finish, only 1.0 litre turbo Slavia will compete with Honda City in India considering pricing. But 1.5 liter NA engine with 150 BHP will be priced higher than Honda City and that will be not good for potent car.
This is super fake. The interiors are from another Skoda car, the steering is a three-spoke one, not a two-spoke steering which you get in modern Skodas. Car shown from 2:53 onwards is the Scala.
Skoda's road grip and drivability is far superior than those saggy verna and city which are selling for 18lakhs.. Current Rapid is a gem for 10 Lakhs.. By the way, the Slavia's will be priced same as verna's (15-20 Lakhs) Unlucky we are losing the 10Lakh gem in 6months..
Slavia 150hp and 250Nm Manual box top end less than 19L on road will be a delight. More than 20L ll get people thinking. I was hoping new Octavia under 26L on road !
