raditz is scared of nappa and vegeta. i think they should give him a redemption arc. Have gohans power level break his gauge and he realizes, maybe they can win. Then, instead of piccolo, he trains gohan to beat vegeta and napa. He loses to vegeta and napa (goku still handles it) but when the frieza fight comes along, instead of krillin dying, gohan does. Now him and goku become super saiyin and absolutley demolish frieza.

there isnt a chance in HFIL that therell be any what if's where goku does something evil

They won’t have that you only get two options per store arc and I’m glad because your trying to do way to much keep it simple

I'm very excited about dragonball sparking Zero. Some people don't like the old days story from Raditz. Then vegeta. That how dragonball Z goes

What if goku didnt die from the heart virus What if cell turned good What if gohan defeated buu What if future gohan went to the past What if vegeta turned ssj first What if buu was in the tournament of power What if bardock won against frieza What if vegito fought broly What if gogeta fought buu What if gogeta fought zamasu What if zamasu fought goku black What if future gohan fought goku black What if piccolo got his potential unlocked earlier What if goku turned ssj2 instead of gohan What if beerus fought zamasu What if vegito fought jiren What if gogeta fought jiren What if goku got ultra instinct in the goku black saga What if cell fought dabura What if goku helped future gohan What if vegeta fought kefla What if gotenks defeated buu What if vegeta fought beerus What if vegeta learned the kaioken, instant transmission and the spirit bomb What if goku got controlled by babidi and turned majin Those are just some of my ideas for what ifs which I plan to make in the custom battle mode in case they arent in the what if part of the story mode (and also if they are possible)

Kind of a let down. Had Sparking Zero aced the Story mode cutscenes to be at least on par with Storymode of Kakarot or Xenoverse, they would have easily become the greatest Dragon Ball Z game of all time. Hands down. Now my predictor rating for the game is 7.5. It’s good, but not great.

What you didn't realize is that the story mode is COMPLETELY done with custom battle!!!

@@DoctorDivine-x9u you haven’t even played the game yet. Also Kakarot really dropped the ball with their story so if you like that game you got low standards. Kararot had inconsistent quality in the cut scenes, it was missing some of the most iconic moments in Dragon Ball like Vegeta saying over 9000 or Gohan going SSJ, the game skipped very important fights like buff Trunks vs perfect cell, they put in cringe dialogue that was way worse than what was said in the series. So I don’t know how you have that game story rank so high. And Xenoverse was just an overall bad game, but that’s just my opinion.

@@xwulfd right that’s what makes me think it’s just a little scene with a fight and maybe a narrated ending showing what would have been if the story continued. The whole thing sounds very underwhelming. Especially if a ton of characters are locked behind a paywall. I mean most of these what if scenarios sound about as deep as custom matchmaking in the other games

Those are in game animation and mostly likely to be used in the what if creator so I believe theres no need

They did do something like that in Budokai tenkaichi 2. You have to beat Raditz with piccolo in the first match.

@@OkeyDokeySmokey I doubt the others would get involved if Goku were alive. He'd see the threat and face off against both on his own. He would easily beat the Saibamen like Piccolo did. He'd should be able to take Nappa out since he'd probably be just above Piccolo's power level of 3500. Then after that he'd be struggling against Vegeta who had a power level of 18,000. I don't look for Vegeta to be merciful either and his first Galick Gun would take Goku out without issue

Thats kinda the point, the sparking series is about recreating fights or making your own in the best way possible, not retelling the story

Just watched story mode cutscenes for kakarot. They were high level. These ones are mediocre and despicable. Even Budokai was more entertaining.

@@DoctorDivine-x9uI just finished Kakarot and honestly I was disappointed. The cutscenes look good, but they’re only around for like half of the game. Then in every other area the game falls short . The entire time I was playing the only thing I was waiting for was a cutscene, then when I stopped getting those it was just nonstop boredom. Combat sucks, repetitive boss battles, repetitive enemy encounters, No side content whatsoever (Training or replay a mission ). They do have side quest but so many of them suck, fetch this , fetch that. Etc etc . Also Gohan has way too many lol. Game is a Gohan simulator.

The game isn't out yet. Of course they don't. Voice Acting is one of the last things you do in a video game and doubly so for a dub of a game.

@@jerm70 I understand. It’s entirely fair that an early build would want to focus on more important things, before tackling the nitty-gritty. It’s just that it hurts my soul seeing subtitles not match up, as someone who often needs subtitles to catch everything that’s said.

yeah, the single player cc2 story focused rpg SHOULD have better cutscenes then a side game mode in an online multiplayer 3d arena fighter.

What if Goku teamed up with Krillin to fight Raditz instead of Piccolo? Its the most what if thing in existence.

Goku goes with Piccolo in the original. This (the last few minutes) Goku opts to go alone and Krillin goes with him. Which apparently this what if ends with Roshi coming in with his Lighting Suprise and Piccolo shows up to kill Raditz with the Special Beam Cannon

If you guys wanted a story focused game you'd play bdz kakarot

@@theedgyboy4644 this is supposed to be the successor of the tenkai series they can at least provide narrations for the story. They're already pumping out dlc like a xenoverse game with a season pass and 3 dlc packs for it they can afford a voice actor for narration. Expecting less just shows you have no respect for the quality of games you buy
