One of the best looking bike, symmetry everywhere and continuous design lines make it pleasing to eyes. Retro looks make makes it stand out than other superbikes. Absolutely Stunning design ❤️.
Loved my old Speed Triple and often looked for a front fairing and clip on option, but failed miserably. This is a beautiful bike and I can’t wait to try it, well done Triumph awesome! I would love to see this in a black and gold trim livery as an option (or am I just getting greedy…?). Nice job!!!
Fantastic, now may an RT (?!) with the grips higher than the tank top hump and bit further back, and a wedgy half fairing to match. Just to get that less wristy sport tourer niche.
@@HydraSperati The main difference between a full on sport bike and a naked bike is the handlebars and fairing. Compare the small Daytonas to the Street Triples and the T595/955i Daytonas to the 955i Speed Triples.
What did you really expect? You know it’s a well made bike, just not the completely new thing I’m waiting on them to make. I’m happy they’ve started moving in that direction.
@@samuelcurran714 That’s ridiculous. Anyone with real experience on multiple bikes understands the build quality of a Triumph. Your comment screams inexperience.
@@freebehindbars8654, think whatever you want mate I'm only telling my exposure to them. I've seen a new 1200 RS leaking from what looked like the valve cover gasket and a friend had a previous gen triumph rocket that was leaking in the same way. Additionally the girlfriends brother is having problems with his 675 street triple with the injectors or possibly the crank position sensor (quite a common hit on the triumph forums I've seen). I'm not saying they're lesser quality but I'm not convinced they're especially better than any other manufacturer.
@@samuelcurran714 If it’s mechanical, it can have issues. I personally put 35k miles on a Street Triple 675R and abused the hell out of a 2012 Speed Triple R. Only issue was the batteries needed replacing. I owned a 2007 GSXR 750 that dropped a valve, toasting the engine. Doubt anyone would consider that Suzuki engine to be poor quality or unreliable, it’s just mechanical. I’ve had good experiences with most manufacturers.
Love the look and it would be great to have a 765 RR variant but based on the other models - I just want the look, not the electronic suspension and Carbon Bling. Can the 1200 RR nanny aids be switched off? Wouldn't adjust suspension parameters on the fly - might be a bit distracting. Nice screen though - classic.👍
For $20K+, I’ll wait for the new TE-1 to be released next year, & enjoy the traditional riding position I’ve come to enjoy. And say good-bye to their parts dept for a looong time!
For me as a Triumph rider one of the most beautiful bikes ever built in the last years - yes I am a fan of the 90s sport touring bikes. Unfortunately the customer has to pay all development costs divided within a much shorter period than in the 90s which rises the price to a tremendous level. (shorter life period) ….And yes €23000 here in Austria is no bargain…. The price increase for motorcycles are not in line with our economical development. 30 years ago in average you had to put 4-5 times a monthly net income on the table - in 2021 this ratio is about 8-10 times!!!….. Just think about……Gents, we are talking here about a MOTORCYCLE ONLY. Even our new mid size premium SUV costs just a few bugs more….
Stunning, much nicer styling than the Japanese superbikes, just a shame it's well out of most people's budget, 18k for a bike is difficult for me to justify.
I hope it has a better gearbox than my Speed triple R, the Triumph quickshifter disintegrated the gearbox when I was overtaking and nearly throwing off....
As i readed we all wanted a Daytona 1200... the fairing in the front looks unfinished for me. The overall bike looks unfinished... its like beeing in the middle of a Sport Tourer and a Sports bike. It doesn't feel in the look as premium as the speed 1200RS it feels like there is a "speed 1200 RRR" after this one talking ONLY about the looks. I understand that the power of the speed 1200 was asking for this rideing position to be more "sporty" and easy to handle and its a good idea but i think that with this incredible engine what we really need is a Daytona 1200. A cheap one and a expensive one(top end stuff like semi active suspension). This Speed 1200 RR wont be selling more than the Speed 1200 RS. A Daytona 1200 would be a best seller. And yes, you have to at least cap it to 190-200hp for the Daytona 1200(more rpm, and better cooling i guess). Cuz ppl will always look at the numbers... But we all know that Triumph numbers on paper always go like %10 more than other bike numbers usually. But for Marketing porpuses you need that 190-200 hp cap. I would love to read an answer.
No!!!! I want the two bug eyed headlights. And twin under seat exhaust pipes. A single headlight looks like a multitude of 1980’s bikes. Porsche thought that the 911 was done n dusted. And brought out the 928. And look where that got Em.
