NEW Star Wars Black Series Figures We Need From Return of the Jedi - Figure It Out Ep. 268

This one is particularly special to me because RotJ is not just my favorite Star Wars movie, but one of my favorite movies of all-time. You guys hit all the major ones. I’d be ecstatic if we got Nien Nunb, Moff Jerjerrod, Chief Chirpa and Logray, and of course, the Max Rebo Band! Besides them, I just want more of Jabba’s Denizens, especially since the first 45 minutes of RotJ is my favorite part in the entire saga. The big three I can see us realistically getting are Yak Face, Three Eyes, and Squid Face. An AT-ST HasLab with the driver would be fantastic as well, come on Hasbro! I also must admit, you guys taught me something with this video! Had no idea who Romba was by name, so that’s cool. I’d definitely take a figure of him!

Seeing Justin impersonate a tortured power droid was one of the best moments on the internet. Fantastic list guys. Yes, Nate on Palace patrons every one. It's a crime we don't have Max. Great job guys. Thanks for sharing.

We need... Because we need to.. Because we need to BALANCE THE SCALES 😂 ROTJ... easly my favorite of the 3 as a kid. Great figure choices. Logrey is a big want for me! Idk about you guys, but if we get the entirety of Jabbas palace figs plus a Max Rebo band, the level of change needed to the display would be crazy, do to room. Would embrace the challenge for such a glorious band of scum and villainy though! I watched this at around 3 a.m. my time. My sleeping pattern has been rough the last week or so do to a lot of personal stuff going on, so having the escape of this hobby and your guys' videos really helps! Always appreciate the effort and consistency you guys put into your videos and streams. MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU, my brothers!

Return is the most fun of the OT. Always been my favorite of the 3 and jabbas palace sequences was like a mini movie b4 the movie.

I’m on the same wavelength in loving and wanting more droids and aliens. Nien Nunb, 8D8, EV-9D9, the Max Rebo Band, and some Rebel pilots in A-Wing, B-Wing, and Y-Wing flight suits are high on my list.

Imperial Officers need a leg update in line with Thrawn and Talia - the single joints look so much better than the old scheme.

I'm in this hobby because I want to collect aliens (and also robots, imperials and all the rest, but primarily aliens). Hasbro hasn't given us many of those (apparently people just want 5000 variants of Luke in various stages of shirtlessness), but the ones they have are pretty great - GG, cantina band members, Dok Ondar, etc. My two most wanted figures are Hammerhead (which we're finally getting!) and Squidface, who has even appeared in several incarnations in Mando, so I have hope he will show up eventually. One thing that bothers me though - Dok Ondar is painted orange for some reason, and Jabba is green and yellow, as was the original Kenner Jabba. I worry that Hammerhead will also be orange, I feel like these toy companies try to avoid the color brown for some reason. 🤨We're all adults here, so what could it be? Anyway, good video, good choices!

Since 77’, getting a hold of some glup shitto figure, meant learning more about the characters and brought more life to the movies as a kid for me. So having Hasbro make any of the guys would be great but as always it boils down to items sold and I’m not sure any of them would do that well. This is where haslabs should exist for black series….made to order character packs so they don’t feel the sting and we get the option…just a thought to solve this lil dilemma. The list is definitely solid guys, but you’ll never hear me say no to a figure that hasn’t been made yet ! Oh except for carbonized,hologram, credit collection those are nos before announcements.sorry for long response

Maybe have the Max Rebo Band packed with Oola? Gonky should've came out with Bad Batch a long time ago since it's a key part of the team. 8D8 should have a torture device as an accessory as well. Nien Nub is my most desired figure from that movie, though.

Great list fellas, ROTJ has a very special place in my heart so I’ll take any and all figs from the film! Jerjerrod, more Ewoks, 8D8, just all banger picks. Hopefully we can see some of these come out in the future!

Obviously I’ll take any and all, especially background aliens. TVC collectors use a lot of older, less-articulated figures to fill out collections. I’d be down for 6” scale figures even with less articulation. Rebo Band- I don’t need Max with rocker ankles and ab crunches. It’s how you guys feel about things like that where we could get collection fillers with less articulation if not needed.

Nien Numb needs more love, same goes the sullustan rebel soldier from BF 1&2. Max Reebo band needs validation, not just the Bith Mos Eisley Cantina band.

I love all this! All of it! 10 year old Prophet924 eagerly waited hours in line to see this film. It is the first movie I remember my audience giving it an ovation and cheers. That joyous display occurred after Luke says, “Don’t forget the droids.” The movie theme crescendo as they fly off planet nearly muffled the cheering. One of the coolest moments in my life. Jedi is so much fun! Jabba’s palace is the beginning of my love for Tatooine. So good. Please Hasbro more RoTJ figures! Ewoks, aliens, and those sweet sweet musicians. I’m okay with the loud big mouth obvious forced on Max band manager who has them indentured due to a bad gambling debt by Droopy McCool.

As they say, "Beggars can't be choosers." I'll take anything that isn't boring, and by boring, I mean figures that look like the GI Joe Classified line. If pressed though, I've wanted a gonk droid for a long time. But I just know, somehow, Hasbro will find a reason to slap that, "deluxe figure," label on it.

I LOVE Return of the Jedi. Like someone else commented, RotJ is not only my favorite Star Wars film, it's one of my favorite movies period. I would kill to have figures of the "Palace Denizens" and we absolutely need Nien Nunb. Hell, we need more aliens in the line, period. Great video, boyos!

Nikto. The 3.75.” Nikto still have some of the best alien headsculpts Hasbro has ever done, and I’d like to see them put that level of detail on 6 inch Star Wars alien figures (really any Jabba’s Palace aliens)

I will always default to getting all of the original Kenner figures that were originally released from the OT films that I had as a kid. While ANH and ESB are both within shouting distance of having all of those done, ROTJ still has a ways to go. There ares still 18 figures left to go from the third OT film. You guys hit most of them here. I will speak up for my man General Madine which would be easy to make using the general lando body. Need more rebel military types to balance out all the imps. Throw in mon Mothma and a b wing and a wing pilot and we could get a good rebel briefing buildout going on the shelf!

"FIX the KENNER 96!!" Nothing else will appease me. There's 8 murder bears contained in that, plus most of what you've mentioned bar Rebos, Snooty and the Droopster. MAKE THESE BLOODY FIGURES HAS-GO-LO.

Definitely with Nate in regards to Favourite Film and the need for more love of Jabba's Skiff Guards and Denizens, I was very disappointed that we gained nothing new during the 40th BIG missed opportunity by Hasbro. On a more positive note I think I've worked out how to get Leia (Jabba's palace) back out simply release her as Princess Leia (Sandstorm) we'd still be getting her in her Palace outfit but with a soft goods wrap to hide her modesty, hasbro could even use it to create a subline of deleted scene characters so that they could recall all of those Skiff Guard Lando's give him soft goods and some goggles and throw him back out as Sandstorm Lando. The AT-ST is something I could get behind, give me the AT-ST w/ Major Marquand then make tier 1 Lt. Watts, tier 2 Ewok Glider w/Ewok, tier 3 Ewok Catapult w/ Ewok and finally tier 4 Rebel Endor Trooper 2pk ( c/w/4 totally different face sculpts, w/ trench coat and other soft goods accessories).

Great! Nien Numb would be great, since Lando lost his Buddy Lobot...wait...we need a Lobot, too! :)

And hell yes on the band. The ORIGINAL BAND. 😂. Love me some Sy Snootles. Them legs go all the way up!😢

The thing about AT ST, is it’s gray and been done in 3.75 and Lego soooo often. I’d want black series to be out of the box and destroy the competition with something never done before or a really unique choice. Basically the same philosophy as wanting background characters. I’d love background vehicles or creative things.

I’d like to get a Sarlaac Pit! Including a skiff would be AWESOME!

Jerjerrod was a surprising inclusion in TVC (one of the best cardbacks along with Admiral Piett) and, yes, TBS deserves it. Hasbro’s offering for RotJ40 has been all over the place in both TBS, TVC and HMT… I mean Retro. Retro has Mon Mothma on a cardback, TVC doesn’t and TBS doesn’t even have it in the Galaxy Packaging outside of Andor but it’s during the Dark Times, not the final battle against the Empire. The lines aren’t balanced.

ROTJ is my favorite Star Wars film! I'll take as many ewoks as they can make! Max Rebo Band would be amazing! And I'd want the original Sy Snootles, not the CGI one. Nien Numb is a must. And put me down for any Jabba's Place character

Hello Nate and Justin, we really do need a lot of RotJ figures. You both managed to list off so many, the only figure that no one else mentioned is 9-D9, Jabba's droid in charge who was with 8-D8 and that poor Power Droid. Ewoks need to come in a Tupac. For $30. I refuse to pay $25 for an ewok or a Jawa. If a bigger figure that uses more plastic is a deluxe product at a higher price point, smaller ones need to cost less. Especially something they can get a lot of reuse out of. It’s not like they come with a ton of extra stuff.

Bruh Bane Malor already has a 3.75 figure snd id kill to have a 6" to match it. I doubt we will ever get oola or huttslayer leia at all but i would love them. Amanaman would be great, too tbh a new scout trooper would also be good finally. The elbows on the current are so outdated. A mobarr monk would be dope too but can't see them doing that as a single release.

simply put ... you kids missed the boat on Return of the Jedi , you were not there when it came out in theaters , glad you love being raised watching it on VHS and all . but when Luke beat Vader in the throne room , the cheers were deafening in the theater , and when Luke takes Vaders helmet off , you could literally hear everyone's heart beating it was so quiet .. it was the great cinematic reveal of the of the 20th century .. second maybe only to the Statue of Liberty reveal in The Planet of the Apes .. you will never get any of that kind of excitement watching it on tv at home .. Amanaman is the number 1 figure Hasbro needs makes for Black Series .. But Hasbro is lame , real cripple .. so they will just keep making figures from those horrible Disney Star Wars movies and tv shows ..

If we ever do get an 8D8 it better come with articulated elbows, unlike the new TVC version coming out with the re-release of Jabba that’s got the whole TVC community in an uproar. How could ANY figure in this day and age of Super Articulation, at any scale, let alone adult collectible Vintage Collection, come with static, non-articulated elbows. How Hasbro? Anyway, great list. I know there’s still the 0.0000% chance we’ll ever see a Slave Leia again, but it remains my #1, followed by the entire Max Rebo Band, featuring Sy Snootles. 3rd would be Nien Numb, 4th 8D8, and so on.
