Ren is unfair..He took too much of the talent pool not leaving enough for the rest. lol. You'll see what I mean if you delve into his catalog. Not much that man can't do. I just checked out your video & you got a sub brothers. I liked it a lot. I keep a constant eye out for Ren reactions too. Especially Hi Ren and the Jenny/Screech/Violet trilogy. Watching people's faces as they experience it for the first time is almost as good as the first time I experienced it.

4:00 Did you all notice the Shadows that Ren casts? The Dark Shadow is to his right, and the lighter Shadow is to his left. Pretty sure that was by design, but if it wasn't, then I'd call that one crazy coincidence.
Had to be planned, knowing Ren. He even looks down to his right (stage left) in the spoken word section when he says "the darker the shadow it casts." The shadows are dancing as well at the end when he's back to the opening vocals, standing and playing with the lights going crazy.
@@swyts I'm sure it was too, but someone told me it wasn't. He said he's worked with lighting for years, and that it was just a lucky coincidence. I think he's wrong 🙂
@@swytsYea it's just too prevalent for it to be serendipitous. That being said it reminds of the movie 23 with Jim Carrey. A movie about his obsession with that number as he becomes convinced and obsessed with it's meaning, symbolism and frequency. Veritasium did a cool video on the number 37 and the math and reasoning behind the number and our own intrinsic abilities for pattern recognition. Sometimes even outside the realm of fact. If we see no obvious pattern we create it to bring reason and understanding to our reality.
Really enjoyed watching these guys! I agree, when Ren goes into singing mode, "So cower at the man I've become" I get goosebumps too! The both looked captivated during the whole video ❤❤

I think you definitely have to bring these two back for more Ren reactions after this one. In some capacity or another it's pretty apparent that they will be able to appreciate and recognize a lot of the different facets that make up Ren and how incredible of an artist he truly is.

per a Ren interview, the audio was done in one take, the visuals were a mix of 4 takes due to them getting booted out of the location before he could get the perfect one shot audio/video take

This is a great one. I love it when guests have emotional reactions! Big guy's beard was hiding the lump in his throat, but I could see his eyes welling up and his jaw tighten. He felt it. He might have said more had he not been fighting tears. Beautiful reaction. ❤

Pegasus, dude, I just wanna say thanx for helping to blow Ren up, man. I'm a 56 year old Tennessee hillbilly that went straight fanboy when I first saw Hi Ren because it hit me deep, brother. It was legit cathartic for my mental health and I know there are literally millions of people out there that Ren's music and story will help them sway away more from the darkness to play in the light. It's easy to see that you recognize this too, and deserve massive props because you're are playing a huge part in bringing folks to the light. They say all it takes for evil to prosper is that good people stay silent. Goodness reigns, tho', when we raise our voices to bring each other together. So thank you again for using your voice to help spread the word of hope.
LOVE these men's reactions. Their eyes and expressions showed so much appreciation and understanding of the wonder that is REN. Wow guys! What another awesome reaction from BP and his people!! Now of course they did great, your people always do!! I’m grateful I get sent to new artists becasue of this channel, but this new song by @unconventionalkingz was absolute fire 🔥! Maybe my favorite new song, artists that I checked out because of BP. Many things actually reminded me of REN, which I don’t say lightly, as he, according to hundreds of thousands say he is the best artists to have ever lived. Just saying. I can’t wait until the new single on July 19th. Got that shit in my calendar. See ya then.
I am so grateful I stumbled upon this reaction channel probably close to a year ago now - my first one and still my favorite although I do check out others as well. BP's openness to all kinds of music from different genres, generations, themes, etc. I appreciate how I have been able to connect with current independent artists. The music didn't die after all. It found its way around industrial gatekeepers. Definitely will go check out Unconventionalkings. Their reactions and insights about Hi Ren piqued my interest. Thank you guys!! ❤
