@@BomberDavi that would be because the drivers were amazing at what they did. The car had terrible handling that required very skilled drivers to actually use the car to its full capability. That car is fantastic and I love it, but it's one that's hard to drive if you don't know what you're doing.

No it cannot officially be called a Ferrari. That's not how coachbuilding works. Also the chassis is heavily modified. To officially be a Ferrari, it needs to be manufacted and left as a Ferrari

An actual rally car costs more than that but either way you can't take this rallying competitively as there is no mass produced car this is based on and rally cars are limited to 1600cc.

@@gustavmeyrink_2.0 lol Production Numbers havent hindered a Lancia in the past.. Back in the 70s, Lancia straight up tricked the WRC into thinking they had 500 production models by having the 250 they did have at one parking lot, told the WRC guys the other 250 were on a lot parked across town, took the WRC guys out to lunch and had Lancia employees move the 250 cars across town to the other lot.

WRC Cars arent much cheaper.. they are like 500k-600k to build and probably over 800k after you get replacement parts for race fixes.

@@smac919 rules have changed and these days there must not be 500 but 5000 or more before you can base a rally car on that. The dangers of Group B have changed everything. Btw the moving cars to another lot is an urban myth but a rally car still costs around the same as this car ie 500k and up.

The Lancia Stratos HF concept forever changed me. It is the most beautiful ever built. The rally Stratos was a boyhood dream. This car. It is its worthy successor

I think if pop-up headlights aren't allowed... let's make pop-up spikes to make sure that pedestrians die as soon as we hit them. It's more humane than living in the with a broken hip because of stupid compact suv hit you.
