Hmm ... more than a remastered version is a high quality orchestrated remix. It has an unique style, and i love the bowser picture at the background. Like!
jumping back and fourth High pitched. Low pitched. Representing how much bowser tries and how he tries different strategies. Going to space. Growing large. Time traveling. You name it
All the music from the original NSMB is underrated due to people usually just complaining about the music that keeps getting reused from NSMBWii. The castle theme is especially good and you pumped up the song to 11. It sounds like it could fit in a movie, and it feels really professional too. It's wonderful and I love it.
The only songs Wii reused were the variations of the Overworld theme though, as far as I know. Everything else was new music (unless you count the Underground and Toad House themes as reused but those are SMB1 Underground and Overworld remixes and literally every mainline Mario game from Mario 64 onward has at least one of each of those). Every other song in DS is never reused again in the NSMB series, as the other songs in Wii are all new, and 2 and U just reuse Wii's soundtrack for the most part, except U replaces every variation of the overworld theme with a new theme (thus having _NO_ NSMBDS music in it) and 2 adds a bunch of Bahs. So there's really no reason to complain about DS's soundtrack getting reused over and over again because literally just the Overworld theme was reused (and its variations), that's it, unless I'm forgetting something.
So many emotions ran inside me as I hear this incredibly moving, really beautiful, gothic sounding, ear pleasing, sinisterly, tragically, epic piece of orchestral masterpiece that truly brings out the perfect cinematic theme for an egotistical being who is meant to be feared by many who even witness his ruthlessness and terror...............and king of awesomeness.
Another cool and whimsical take on a Mario song that makes me think of Danny Elfman. I do agree that it sounds like it’s apart of a legitimate movie score in regards to how it’s been handled. It’s absolutely haunting and really gets the imagination going.
Awesome feeling, man. It starts off with a dark and evil feeling as mario approaches the castle prepared to face the dangers within. Once inside, he peers around, bearing witness to the massive machinery and lava. He wants to turn back, but he must proceed with his mission. Swinging and leaping past hoards of enemies and spikes, he makes his way closer to Bowser... In the end, he must face his rival, destined to save the princess. Slowly decending into madness, Mario and Bowser clash, but eventually, One shall claim victory... Yeah, I just improved this. I know it's bad
I think I have a story for the picture. So, after all the losses Bowser has had, he gains an idea to finally get rid of the Mario Bros. It is very dangerous, however, and will result in many deaths. He thinks back to all the memories he has made. He wishes he could go back. But it is too late. He grabs the kids, and they all pack up. He fakes a distress call from the princess, telling the bros that she has been kidnapped. Bowser then watches from afar as the brothers run into the castle. Tears begin to roll down his cheeks. He turns and walks in silence, as an explosion is heard in the background. He has succeeded. But at what cost did his victory come?
I picture the Villan just killed one of the MC's loved one's and the MC lost control and transformd into something he didn't want to be (something evil with immense power)
The Super Mario Movie: *Bowser has finally had enough.* *He doesn't care about the princess anymore.* *He just wants to get rid of that meddling plumber.*

Bowser Jones, captain of "The Flying Koopa" The beginning reminds me of Davy Jones' music box. What terrible wrong was done to Bowser to set him on this path of kidnapping Peach
This makes me want to summon a ghost, who ends up being much smaller and weaker than myself, but he's still helpful, despite having to get carried on my back half the time. We end up going to the place get died while fighting off zombie doctors with syringes and mad scientists with live electrical wires. After we finish clearing the place out, we find out we were connected in my past life, and while he was alive, and we stay close until eternity
Your intro misled me. That being said, I wish that Nintendo wouldn't restrict this theme to one game. I never played New Super Mario Bros. and I really love this theme.
As he climbed from the pit of lava once more, unsure of why he still had one, Bowser heaved a sigh. He didn’t know why he bothered with these kidnappings. Was it love? Was it a desire for power? Is it simply the desperation to end this rivalry he had with himself on top? He had forgotten long ago. He walked to his room so he could be alone with his thoughts and sat down on a bed designed to support someone of his size and weight. Despite his defeat, he couldn’t help but laugh. “A love between a human and a koopa could never work,” he said to himself. They were just too different. Bowser didn’t know why he did so, but after gathering his bearings, he went to visit the infirmary. He saw his injured subjects having their wounds tended to. He saw Bowser Jr., his own son, with a cast on his arm and, for the first time, he asked himself if it was worth it for things to continue the way they were now. His hands balled into fists as he realized that this foolish obsession of his may end up bringing about the downfall of his kingdom. “Don’t worry,” he muttered, “I’ll find a way make things right, even if I have to do it myself.” He told Kamek about his idea, about how he planned to go and find a way and make up for all of the damage he caused. He told the Magikoopa to keep an eye on Bowser Jr. and help him grow up to be a better king than himself if he never returned. Kamek was about to express his concern, but Bowser had already left, closing the door behind him.
Why did it take RU-vid's algorithm 5 years to show me this? This is a DAMN good remix I wish I heard sooner. The original song I feel is highly underrated.... This remix realizes the potential the original had.
Wonderful!, Excellent!, When I was listening to your arrangement, I was imagining a New Super Mario Bros. cinematic, hearing Bowser Jr.'s laugh in my mind at the start of the music and later, Mario going through the castle. A truly amazing work!

Imma write y'all a short little story. [A recent skirmish had just ended near Bowser's capital, where his castle resides.] It was a massacre... Toads, Koopas, Goombas, lying on the floor with emotionless faces and stiff bodies. He'd had been through many wars, and been to many battles, but nothing had prepared him for the horrors this battle had brought. He'd been surveying the aftermath when His Majesty spoke, "This is a one sided war General, and we're on the short end of the stick." Naturally, he responded with, "But there's still-" "There's no hope left in this war General. I thought I was ready, and I was wrong." Normally His Majesty didn't speak of his personal feeling openly like this, but after a battle of this caliber I don't know who wouldn't. His Majesty was the strongest beast he had ever known, even stronger than his Parents. Never once had he given up on anything, and he was yet to give up on his dream. "General, you know I'm not done with this war, but I have a request." "What is your request Your Majesty?" "Initiate battle protocol Delta." Protocol Delta, two words that haven't been spoken in decades, and here he was hearing them come from His Majesty's own damn mouth. "With all due respect sir, but what about the-" "I know about the civilians General, trust me, I know." He'd started to think that His Majesty's mental health was degrading due to the stress of war, but he was still thinking clear as day. "But sir, Protocol Delta hasn't been activated since your... Since your..." "Since my parents death, I know. My father choose to put you in charge of raising me for a reason General. He knew Your rationalism and quick witted thinking would suit raising a young child well." Ah yes, he'd served under His Majesty's parents too. The memories he had with them were always good, until that fateful night. "Once again Sir, initiating Protocol Delta requires a unanimous decision from the high council." "And of what of the high council remains?!??! They betrayed me, went against my will! They even went as far as trying to dethrone me!" Uh oh, he'd just made His Majesty irritated, probably the biggest mistake you can make. "I understand that sir, but we have to think about the civilians and the well being of this country!" "General, there's nothing left of this country. You and I both know that." "Yes, but that doesn't mea-" "THEN WHAT DOES IT MEAN? Nothing can protect us anymore General! NOTHING! Do you honestly think I wished this upon my people? Do you think I wanted it to come this far?" He cared about his people more than anything else, and was prepared to do whatever it takes to keep them away from the Mushroom Kingdom. Even if it means Protocol Delta. "Well then, as you wish sir." [A few hours later] "It is about to begin your majesty." "I never thought it would come to this, John." John, a name only his parents ever called him. "Me neither Your Majesty, but you cannot win a war without sacrifices." "I wouldn't call this a win, General. One last thing however. Thank you for always being by my side General, I never would have made it this far without you." "No need for thanks Your Majesty, it was my personal honor." He relinquished all of his memories, from serving the former king, to being the War General for His Majesty. From the moment he breathed, until the moment now he had been on an adventure. They say that the trail ends for everyone at some point, but that doesn't mean they stop traveling. He took one quick glance at His Majesty, and as everything faded to white he noticed something he hadn't noticed for decades. His Majesty was truly at rest, the burdens on his shoulders lifted away. The reason why they don't use this theme anymore is because Ludwig claimed it, and made a castle that is far worse than any of which Bowser himself could create. He's just waiting for the right timing. Calling it now

This gives me some serious goosebumps, big ones!!.. Would love to see a "dark" mario game with a huge story line with this song. That'd be so cool! x.x
This is just epic, You are amazing for making this awesome remix. I think you should do a super mario world castle remix like this, one of my favorite games.
Thats so epic. I recommented this and your Wii Castle Remastered to Top NSMBU Modders because i have a lot of contact to them. And those 2 tracks are so perfect for final castles. We just have to make sure that the levels are long enough that you can here the complete tracks ingame and if you die and respawn at a Checkpoint that the music will not restart on the beginning but at later point that you can hear the complete Song ingame
At long last , you beat bowser. Now do you see the consequences of your actions? What was the purpose of your mass killing? Now you see the cost of it all.
Ngl the beginning sounds like if bowser was killed off in the game and this was the theme that played after, but after the beginning it sounds like it’d be for a final battle
