In these games, Bowser Jr always seems to take a more active role as the antagonist. Bowser’s just there as the final boss, while Jr, is frequently trying to stop you. Most of the time, it’s not even Bowser, who kidnaps Peach. It’s Bowser Jr, and the Koopalings.

Wow, Miyamoto and his development team really had their foresight about this which is totally genius. To be honest, I've enjoyed enough of fantasy to understand about the Peachette transformation and it also reminds me of that character named Mamizou Futatsuiwa. I bet Peachette's the better carbon-copy of Peach. Daisy was treated that way just because she used to have the same hair length as Princess Peach, her role in Super Mario Land, first appearing on the Game Boy, coming from a strange land that has only appeared in Super Mario Land, her dress being a flower themed version, and not having much 2D appearances due to not being popular enough to the international audience back then with Kensuke Tanabe responsible for Daisy's hiatus. It's not Miyamoto's fault, Kensuke Tanabe was jealous of Miyamoto's popularity and Miyamoto prefered Daisy instead of Toads outside of Mario, Peach, and Luigi, but Kensuke Tanabe got stubborn with the Toads instead of Daisy as Miyamoto intended. Unfortunately, Kensuke Tanabe discarded Daisy. And sadly, we were stuck with Toad outside of the Mario main cast.
Peach sees Peachette: Peach: “What…?!” Peachette defeats Bowser. Me: “Yes!” Peachette transforms back into Toadette offscreen before going to see Peach. Me: 😑 my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined.
For all the people saying Peach is bi.. She was programmed to kiss the character that saved her, therefore, if it was toad, she would have kissed him on the forehead also. Plus, it wasn't even a romantic kiss, it was a simple kiss on the forehead. Edit: If you are still seeing this a year later, I am not homophobic. I was just saying that kissing toadette on the forehead doesn't make her bi... Also, even if Peach's sexuality isn't a big deal since she's a video game character, we're still allowed to debate about it. Though the character could be saved as an object reference and a certain event could play out if it toadette were to rescue her and different sequences would depend on which object reference was present

I am fully convinced that she was originally going to stay as Peachette when Peach kissed her, but after all that Bowsette crap they decided to change it
Alright, let’s clear something up. Yes, Peach does kiss Toadette (even if it’s just on the head). I personally have nothing against this, but people in the comments apparently do. One explanation could be is one from the comments(can’t remember who) which said that Peach might see the Toads as her children as they all serve her, so kissing Toadette is like kissing her daughter. Another explanation I have is that the producer of Treasure Tracker said that the Toad don’t really have genders. *”This is maybe a little bit of a strange story, but we never really went out of our way to decide on the sex of these characters, even though they have somewhat gendered appearances.”* Both explanations make sense to me, so don’t jump to the conclusion that Peach is bi.
DaniLovesArt12 Dim idk...Mario and Bowser were BOTH rejected at the end of Super Mario Odyssey and Not like Unlikely for Nintendo to add a twist to some characters. It may not be canon, but It might be someday! As of now I wouldn’t even consider her bi, but I wouldn’t be surprised!
BEFORE THE CLAIM SHE BI lol Lets look at it this way, Peach is the monarch of the mushroom kingdom which for sure comes with a lot of responsibility. The toads live to serve/obey her, Princess Peach surely must view all toads of any kind and gender as her children. Cause a mother very well does smooch her daughter right? Adopted or not.

I really liked the final boss, I love the atmosphere, the music was good, I like running away from giant bowser when he spun around, it’s just simple fun to me
Nintendo, all this because Daisy, apparently can not come and save peach because of... Logic, or something... yep, big RIP for Toadette as a character there...
It was definitely weird to see Peachette at first, but I've gotten used to her by now. Her float ability has quite an update, and her design is more convincing that she's The Princess of The Mushroom Kingdom.
N P I just want a 2d Mario game that doesn’t have word “New” in it. Probably won’t happen though cause Nintendo knows that people are probably buy the game cause it’s Mario.

Once upon a time, there was a Nabbit valley, where Nabbits lived, grew, and played in their holes. It was a Nabbit's haven. But one day, a flattener from over the hills and far away came to the land, and was forced to crush the Nabbits' homes. One Nabbit took notice and ran off, but others did not suspect it, and were sleeping like usual. They only responded when a loud beeping sound came across, but had little time to react, and were crushed in their homes. Nabbit has since grown an enemy out of the Toads, giving them payback for what they once did. Nabbit now steals items to eat from Toad Houses, and has since been trying to find a new home..
