Because the game is rigged now literally 100%. Its rigged for streamers to win to promote the game and makes sure randoms will not take the prize money. It was only non rigged for like a 100 day period when they were getting ready to shut overwatch 1 down but when 2 came out the whole rigged algorithm kicked in hard.
They will never significantly nerf Kiriko because she is their cash cow, she gets multiple new skins every season! It's actually getting ridiculous at this point. She is the ONLY Support that can do EVERYTHING well and that excels at everything she does. No other Support can do this, but Bap is a very close 2nd.
Bap is not a close second at all. He folds to dive, and sucks in dive comp. He also has a very difficult time healing many heroes on the roster, like Echo and Pharah, and also hyper mobile flankers like Tracer and Genji. Kiriko has none of these issues. She is a top pick for any comp and has zero issues playing alongside, or against, any other hero. Straight up just doesn't have weaknesses at all.
I don't think buffing GA will reasonably buff mercy. Currently that'd only buff mercy when she's absolutely alone with no allies or ally souls to GA to. If you're good with mercy movement you can fly pretty much anywhere within a medium range. The buff you're describing just doesn't really do much.
@JANT19294b I don't think battle mercy would be what we'd like to buff. She's struggling to heal people through the dps passive. Staggering isn't really a problem either. That's a small edge case that should rarely happen, if you're playing well. I think with the dps passive we could bring back the critical healing she used to have. Nerf her base heal, increase sympathetic recovery, etc.
Esteemed colleagues, I present myself as an engineer, a profession dedicated to the resolution of practical challenges. My expertise lies not in philosophical contemplations, such as the elusive nature of beauty, but in the realm of tangible problem-solving. Consider a scenario where a formidable adversary threatens to inflict significant structural damage upon my person. In such a circumstance, I propose a straightforward solution: the utilization of a firearm. Should this initial measure prove insufficient, the escalation to a more potent firearm is warranted. Like This heavy-duty tripod-mounted device was meticulously engineered and constructed by me. It is a formidable instrument, and I sincerely hope it will never be directed at you. I trust this concise explanation adequately conveys my approach to problem-solving. Thank you for your attention.
I honestly have the most fun playing Illaris. I do agree that she’s a B tiers especially when compared to Kiriko and Baptiste (my old main) but I find myself having my best matches both fun wise and competitive wise with Illaris. I think once you get the trick on how to use her weapon correctly to get the most damage out of it she becomes A tier.
I want to see more people making videos on HOW to play mercy in season 10 rather to why you shouldnt. Because i mean in every game people are usually gunna play whatever they want anyway. I know i am and i also main mercy so i like mercy content and there literally is 0 rn .
Agreed! I’ve been learning how to play other supports for the past 2 seasons maybe (making a rule for myself not to pick mercy lol) but it doesn’t change the fact that I still get matched with instalockers that still play mercy into hitscan and high dmg :(
why do they keep buffing tanks. I feel like tanks just to whatever the hell they want, and the smallest tank diff makes the biggest impact that is a mountain to climb. I’m consistently getting games in plat low diamond with our tank or the enemy tank getting 25plus kills with the opposite tank getting 3. Tanks feel like they are world the whole team of players. They have it all - best mobility, best ult, armour, 4 times -20 times the health if you include shield with cooldown and recharge. WTHeck is going on with this game. Never thought id say this but i think i’m done with this game ive played since launch. And i dont blame my tank or the enemy tank, i dont even get tilted or any during games. I take zoloft so i dont feel anger. This game ishas just become rediculous?! Am i the only one here?!
i understand ow is a team game, but is it a team game when everything revolves around how your tank is doing and if hes gone you just get bullied or just do what you are able to do swapping to whatever might work?
why dont they just put all the tanks agaisnt each other 5 vs 5 and let the other players just play the freeking game instead of getting booped around, chased, outrun, dove on, slamed.
God no, tank player's have been suffering with the amount of knockback everywhere, it's really gross and dumb and they should be rewarded if they manage to get on top of your backline
@eldenmeow5123 why do you say that? Supports dominated the over the last year and now are finally in a reasonable place. Kiriko is S+ tier in that she everything
@@nixsnowsong6732 I won’t argue that she isn’t the best but bap and Lucio are very close. Nerf kiri and it’s still bap and Lucio at the top. It doesn’t help the bad supports like mercy or lifeweaver in any way. Other supports should have the ability to be a threat just like her. People hate kiri because she’s hard to kill and also a threat. Suzu isn’t going anywhere because it’s necessary. They may nerf swift step or rush but that’s probably all that would be touched. Also consider that in gold and below (where most of the player base is) kiri underperforms compared to other supports because without a good sense of when to suzu or ability to actually land headshots with kunai consistently she’s basically just a healbot with a good ult.
TL;DR - I agree, but I think that shouldn't mean that Kirko isn't the strongest. We should rank them according to when they're optimally used but recognize if they have a higher skill floor to entry. @eldenmeow5123 ok. Yeah, I see that argument. I actually agree with most of your points. I myself am only Platinum, but I do kinda drench myself in educational content like KarQ, Emongg, and Spilo. The thing you mentioned about why people hate kiriko is for a variety of reasons. For context, my top 3 heros are LW, Ana, and Kriko, in that order. But Kiriko is strong not just because she's a threat. Arguably, every support is a threat in a certain scenario. What Kiriko's strength comes from isn't that or suzu or the tracking healing ofudas. I believe what makes Kiriko hated and such a strong pick is that her swift step is kind of a get out of jail free card. Not that you can swift step to just escape being dove. But being able to take absurdly aggressive angles and fights and if they go wrong, you get out for mostly free (approx 8 sec cd iirc). Personally, I think it's fine that Kiriko is weaker in low ranks because of poor game knowledge. I think the game is best when balanced around the top levels of play. This lets lower ranked players have something to strive for. But when evaluating a character for strength, we should evaluate not at the common playerbase level, but at the most effective way the character is utilized.
@@nixsnowsong6732 Mercy and LW are Main Supports. I specifically said Ana is the worst FS. And needing a 2nd hero to permanently babysit you so you don't fall over says enough about the state of Ana. No other FS is dependent on another hero/player to keep you alive. All of them have either mobility or invulnerability or an escape CD. Or all of those.
@DarthCookieOW oh, thought fs was "for sure." Yeah, that makes sense.. but I'd Zen is actually still more vulnerable. Ana has escape tools in Sleep Dart and Anti-Nade but mostly relies on positioning. She is one of the most influential supports to have on your team, a good nade, a clutch sleep, even just a Nano'd diver can flip fights by themselves Also separate. But the notion of fill support vs. main support and having a mix was lost in the swap to OW2. Most support combinations can work, even if they're doubling up on fill or main supports.
