Thanks for sharing. So glad you did this "honest" test for the public. Would be really happy to receive one, but I didn't see where to click for the one your giving away. Many blessings, stay safe.
If you go to their website and watch the video, you no longer need to suck on it, you can attach it to a water bottle, or use a long tube to suck on it if you want to drink straight from the pond, no longer putting your head down there near the water where the bugs rule.
@@leeroyexcavator9149 yeah, good call...just go to amazon AND use the filter to look at all the lowest reviews, that will INSTANTLY tell you what is wrong with this video. YET SEEMS your powers of observations were already top notch, so CG's to you buds :)
That's amaizing!! If you have anymore filters im just getting started with learning and survival training. All this information is great! thank you sir.
its a scam vid...they just wanted your address to sell this garbage to...and you KNOW how important it is to have GOOD water in an emergency situation...go to amazon and read all the bottom reviews FOR ANY lifestraws, you will find out fast like I did...which is nice because OTHERWISE I would of bought one...yet now I AM aware :)
GREAT JOB! Would love to receive one free. I was always interested if they work. Makes me wonder how efficient they are against things smaller than bacteria... (chemicals). THANKS
Was it still stinky though? I have the same issue with my ponds. Mostly comes from the anaerobic activity at the shoreline, and rotting vegetation. Sadly I also have a high sulfur and iron content in my ponds...so P-U! 🙊 Just curious because even if the water was "safe", if it smells like poop I'm not drinking it.
scam video far as I can tell...yeah sure he gave out a bunch of free ones, probably just wanted the addresses to try and sell this crap to them...sad how much people love money, even putting others at risk for contaminated water or FAILS in the bugout bags which are for emergencies!
they are pure garbage products from every bit of research I have done so far, if you want a TRUE product for an emergency, do your DUE diligence and research the crapola out of anything you put in your pack, start with the BOTTOM reviews, loads of em :)
So, the new ones say that they do, and yet still seems very much like the same sketchy product to me, has scam written all over it...I am doing the research to let me know if I should buy the highest rated ones, yet probably just going to go with a sawyer or something instead

@@opopopop6286 I didn't give my address and I never received a response to my question until now from you. I was just kidding about the straws anyway because the video was 3 years old.😄
it's a scam, go check all the bottom reviews on amazon for these products, they are garbage...lifestraw product even comes with the standard cancer and reproductive health warning, so hows that for case in pt?

Your local water testing special agents didn't test the water for metals and chemicals? Those things that'll have you end up a neurological mess in 20 years? ALS, etc etc Don't use these filters unless there is no chance the waters are affected by industries or aggriculture. You're much better off drinking your own piss in a dire situation like that. No problem it's safe
Unless you have AAA geological discernment/judgement skill one shouldn't gamble whether the water is affected or not, one should assume it is affected and only use those straws whenever it can be ruled out 101%

Read the bottom reviews on amazon, tells a totally different story from what you are going to share here...so maybe they received duds...yet honestly, in a survival situation you best make SURE you use the PROPER functions of amazon to read all the complaints, DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE!
Funny how you people are SUPERBLY accurate with just watching the video, I had to research this product for an hour or two at least BEFORE watching this video! I TOTALLY CONCUR WITH YOUR conclusion tho :)
also if you have heard of micro-expressions, you can just tell by the guys lying scammer face how dishonest they are...PROTIP to the scammer scumbag in the video...you actually ok with people getting sick or dying because you are a lying dirtbag that only thinks about money? Time to re-think your wasted life...try and get some proper morale & decency IS MY ADVICE!
